SF

Frühstück war leider nur ein Muffin und Getränke, für 4 Personen war das Zimmer zu klein, jedoch sauber. Bus hält direkt davor. Super

Cozy and very clean.

I am glad that I stayed at this hotel. It was a bright spot in a not so great trip. The room is very clean and the staff were helpful. More choices at breakfast would be nice. Love the shower!

Very clean, relatively inexpensive for SF.

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Room and facilities were very clean. The coffee ans muffins were good, it helped our budget to have at least some breakfast already paid for.
Location: we could walk over to Golden Gate Park, plenty of restaurants nearby
The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. I woke him up at 6:30 thinking that's when the continental breakfast started (it actually starts at 7:30), and he wasn't upset that I woke him so early. The parking was limited, but we actually were able to get a spot on all 3 days, which was great. The wifi and parking are free. There is a breakfast place a couple blocks down that had great sandwiches.

Horrible

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: Locatio
Cons: A radical improvement in relation to customers.
Location: Nothing
We are a couple in our sixties. Before our arrival we ask them If there is no elevator I would like, if possible, a room on the ground floor. They did not answer us at all. When we arrived, it turned out that there is no elevator and our room was, of course, on a high floor. We asked for the same reason they keep us a parking space even though they wrote that they do not keep. Also that they did not give an answer. That's why we had to cancel some of our programs and arrive early. The refrigerator in the room not cooled. Water dripped from the walls of his. The official claimed that's how he works and is not concerned to fix it.

Upgraded, close to Everything

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: The rooms were totally upgraded with granite in the bathroom and shower. The bathroom sink was also new. The decor was very nice.
Cons: The continental breakfast was only juice, coffee and packaged muffins. The street noise was loud with a bus stop right in front.
Location: The hotel was in the middle of the things I wanted to do. The best thing for me was the Golden Gate Bridge park within easy walking distance.
I chose this hotel because it was close to the piers but not as expensive as the other hotels in that area. My visit was purely a vacation for my 16 year old grandson. Overall, my experience here was very pleasant.

Tidy classic motel on Geary.

Posted Jun 13, 2015
Very clean, comfortable night's rest. Sort of a classic 50's motel vibe with inviting big neon motel sign out front. Friendly efficient service. We got lucky with parking and left the car on site (free) during our stay. Seems like there would be plenty of parking on the street otherwise but (free overnight after 6pm till 6am I reckon) beware of street cleaning schedule. Great selection of restaurants in easy walking distance- every variety of Asian mostly. Relatively safe neighborhood... SF has homless folks everywhere but walking around this park of town, we encountered very few. Good value. Would definitely return. Not getting an on site parking place would be the only negative.

Good value

Posted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: Good location by Park Presidio, right on the MUNI bus route. Bathroom is spotless.
Cons: Parking. And it is an older hotel, which is neither bad nor good. It is what it is.
Location: Golden Gate park, bus line that's a straight shot to Union Square and shopping district
The staff is pleasant, room no-frills but spotless, location excellent. The only challenge -- a pretty big one -- is the parking situation. Once you get there, you don't want to lose your space since there are only about 10 parking stalls. Without one, you're hunting for street parking and moving your car around. If you don't have a car, this is an all-around excellent value. Great price, location.

Nettes Motel mit begrenztem Parkplatzangebot

Posted Jun 10, 2015
