Hotel Room

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Cons: See my experience notes
First of all we had a lot of trouble getting our room key to open our room. We had to go to the front desk twice; the first time the staff told us the keys were used, the magnetic strips were getting worn out. The second time we went to the front desk we had to wait for 7 other guest to check in, there was only one attendant at the front desk even though it was only 6:30 in the evening. The attendant at the front desk could not provide us with a working key so the cleaning service opened the room for us with her master key and we could not both leave the room at the same time. The refrigerator was rusty inside. Only one lamp worked. There was only 2 wall outlets so we had to unplug an electrical device in order to charge our cell phone. As this was not the cheapest hotel in the area we were greatly disappointed in the hotel. The shower/tub looked dirty (I would not take a shower).

Convenient Location

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Second time staying here now. So many things to do that we only used the room for a bed, but a comfortable one at that. If you just need a place to crash for cheap then it's a good deal. Also min away from SFO and is halfway between SF and San Jose

Pros: See description above
Cons: Nothing that I can think of at the moment.
Location: There are restaurants, such as I-HOP right next door, within a very close proximity of the hotel. Also, I like the immediate access to Highway 101 a b
I found my stay at the hotel to be extremely copacetic. The staff is personable and helpful whenever they are called upon to answer questions, and the hotel itself is relatively peaceful and tranquil. Overall, I would have to say I enjoyed my stay very much.

Decent room

Posted Jul 7, 2014
The room is clean, decent. But it's too closed to the freeway and I can hear cars running at night. Also there's no hair drier in the room for my wife to use.

Cheap hotel, poor shape.

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: Close to San Francisco.
Cons: Spend a few bucks on the items I mentioned above.
Location: Redwood City is next door to San Francisco so the list of things to do is endless.
This hotel proves the adage that you get what you pay for. On the last day of our stay they only changed the towels but did not make the bed!,? And speaking of towels, why do they put the card in the room encouraging you to re-use your towels? Each day of our 3 day stay we hung our towels up to indicate we would re-use them and each time they were changed. No amenities in the room: no fridge, no microwave, no alarm clock, no coffee maker. On the morning of check-out their offer of free coffee in the office was negated by their locked office door. Guess the free coffee was for employees only. This was our first and last stay in this chain's inns.

Good location - close to motorway

Pros: location
Cons: had to ask for 4 towels everyday
Location: As above
Basic hotel. Close to motorway (101) right next to Ihop - so great for breakfasts. Close to shops and McDonalds.

Close to the highway

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Location: It is near the highway 101, 45 minutes to Piere 39, 10 min drive to the closest Target
It was ok, we could hear everything from other rooms, people tent to stay there and go really early in the morning

No Service

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: It was there.
Cons: Service, maid service and security. The price for what you got.
Location: My sister stayed in Sunnyvale (Larkspur) She paid $5 less a night and got beautiful room with a kitchen and fresh cookies at the desk.
We had 4 people 2 towels. We asked for towels were told NO! We asked again were told our maid would bring them. Asked again and NEVER got towels. Rooms were falling apart. Couldn't open Sliding door without 2 people. Toilet seat a mess. No bed spread beds looked like some one slept in them before us and fell apart the minute you got into them. Remote control was illegible and the list goes on. Security issue. The door that was suppose to be locked into our hall was NEVER locked.

Good price, but pretty run down

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Not so bad as to the pricing, friendly staff, but pretty run down, noisy (right between 101 freeway and another busy road), not very clean -- functional if you just want a place to crash for a night. Oh, the internet connection is very poor and comes at $5/day.

6 night stay

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: refrig in the room
Cons: face lift the rooms
Location: not bad
Check in was good but the room was so/so. there were cables from the refrig hanging out and the light switch was upside down. the carpet was very very worn. the drapes was falling off the rod. The patio was dirty and no chair to sit on IF it was clean. You could hear the ice machine from down the hall.
