Great location, room was clean, staff was friendly. I upgraded for a fireplace room but it smelled like a fire pit. The common spaces were well groomed and relaxing. The pool area was small and super busy, but we got to enjoy the hot tub at night. We had dinner at the restaurant across the way and it was good. Will definitely book there again. 💯

We enjoyed the beautiful location of the hotel and it was comfortable enough, but could've used a freezer in the room!
Was convenient having a family restaurant in the parking lot, and the complementary breakfast had great options.
Found it to be a bit pricey for the room we had, but assume this largely factors in the location. Downside was being on the first level and many guests letting their dogs off leash in the back lawn area, which then ran up to our Windows/doors and set our dog off.

Thank you for providing your feedback. We appreciate hearing back from you. We are sorry to hear that the hotel did not exceed your expectations. We do ask that all dogs be kept on leash anytime they are outside of the guest rooms when guests sign the pet agreement.
The facility and grounds were nice inside and out. The breakfast room was too small there were not enough places to sit. The food was very disappointing.

Really liked this property. The only downsides were 1)sliding door & screen need fixing 2)shower temp is sensitive so there's a small margin between cool and really hot.

Staff was okay. Our room had no hand soap to wash hands after using the bathroom. I did appreciate house keeping everyday they left the room spotless. There was a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot, it was there before we got there and was still there when we checked out I notified the staff and she didn’t seem to care and cut me off saying they were aware. . I also think the restaurant and spa in front makes the place look trashy.

This would have been a perfect 5 if the AC was working. We’ve been here years ago for our anniversary and we are back again to celebrate our 20th. Love this place - clean and in the middle of everything.

Our new favorite place to stay in Half Moon Bay!
We found our check in to be easy and the staff friendly and accommodating. From the balcony of our second floor room we could see the ocean. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn’t find the furniture to be outdated in the least as other reviewers stated. It was a quick walk next door to Joe’s restaurant for dinner.

All good except the included breakfast. I arrived at 9:00am, breakfast is supposed to be until 10:00am, there were no bagels, no sausages,no bacon, no coffee, no tea bags, no cream. When I asked the girl handing the breakfast I received an attitude. She did bring out coffee and a couple of bagels. Wow

I stay here every time I visit Half Moon Bay. The hotel is lovely! Staff are always helpful! The pool is heated and the hot tub feels amazing after a day of sight seeing. Breakfast in the morning is a plus! You can also rent bikes!

The fitness center is in need of a rehaul. Broken treadmill, very old elliptical and stationary bike. Nice assortment of free weights. Overall it seemed dirty and I didn't want to work out there.

Somewhat easy to find off main road/ comes up quick, parking lot is kinda loud from our 1st floor room- front doors are thin. Parking lot is a bit aukward.

Very attractive hotel with good breakfast selection. It is older but well maintained. The only reason for the 4 star rating is there is no elevator so if you have heavy bag make sure you get a first floor room. The room was generous and had a very nice balcony.
