“A hotel worth giving a chance too”
The room was very nice with two beds and very comfortable. A lot people complained about the bathroom size? Yes it's smaller compared to new modern hotels but the fixtures and eveything else was top notch.
“Our new go to hotel”
My wife and I and two kids loved the hotel. Originally we had booked one nights stay and enjoyed it so much we extended for an additional night. The location was perfect and we were able to use public transit or walk to every thing we wanted to see. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we are now looking into staying at the San Diego Handerly in the near future.

The Handlery hotel in SF Union Square was wonderful. It is very well situated, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and our room was nice and clean and comfortable. I would recommend it highly to anyone visiting SF.
“A great option”
Since arriving at the hotel, the service is extraordinary begining with the Concierge, who gave us al kind of details and attractions to visit. The room was inmaculate and housekeeping is like being home. The rate is very appropiate and the location is amazing. The restaurant was delicious and a breakfast option you should nott miss.

Short distance to Union Square, Chinatown, shopping area (Macy's, Saks fifth avenue, Tiffany, etc), nice & clean area, old but well maintenance facility!

“Most Convenient Hotel for SFO Shopping”
I have stayed in the Handlery many times over the years. The location couldn't be better. It is now 2 short blocks' away from the subway station that comes directly from SFO airport! They gave me a 3:30 p.m. checkout just to be nice. And one of my favorite restaurants is now part of the hotel (the Daily Grill). Unless you are looking for a 5 star, the Handlery is the best value in town.
“Great Location”
This hotel was right in the center on Union Square; attached to the Daily Grill which is a very nice resturant and bar. The staff from the valent parking to maid service were very helpfull and make your trip stress free. The purpose of our trip was to see San Francisco and catch two Giant Baseball games. We purchase a 3 day Muni-pass for $18 and you can use it for the famous SF Trolley or take the underground Muni right to the Baseball park unlimited transportation.

I was very satisfied with this hotel. It's in a great location, near everything. Room was clean and comfortable, but very small. It suited my needs. Would stay there again. Many good places to eat and very close to the theaters. Had a wonderful time.
“Great location”
I stayed here after Christmas, a slow period in San Francisco, so I got for a low price a nice room with a bay window. My trip was for both business and vacation (Emerald Bowl), and this hotel worked well for both. The wifi worked fine.
