GREAT LOCATION

Posted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: The room was clean and staff helpful
Cons: Not applicable
Location: Hotel is centrally located downtown and close to public transport and tourist attractions as well as shopping venues
We (3 of us) arrived just prior to check in time and had to wait as our requested "Quiet Room " was not ready but the wait was worth it. Staff had actually read our request and admirably accommodated us. Room was spacious and definitely QUIET and well maintained during our 6 night stay. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. When we checked out the hotel stored our luggage until we had to head out to the airport which was a bonus.

Ok Hotel

Nice hotel very close to Union Square. Room was nice but every sound from rooms next door can be heard, so if you are very sensitive to noise I would not stay here.

In the center of it all

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: Union Square right across the street..cable car stop close by...gadzillion places to eat in every direction you look.
Cons: Parking not easy to find. Circled the block twice and still could not find their parking lot. Had to park at the curb and run in to find where it was
Location: see above about what I Liked
Very pleased with the location and price. I didn't want to drive so I looked for a hotel near the cable cars and there was a cable car stop 30 seconds from the front door. Don't expect a view for your surrounded by high-rises, my view was of three other walls of the hotel, but like I said, I didn't get this for the view.Union Square

Good Location Hotel at Union Square

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: It is conventiently located at Union Square and within walking distance to shops like Gap, Macy, etc.
Cons: None
Location: The location is good and there is a cable car stop just next to the hotel. There are plenty of eating places near to the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. It took us less than 15 minutes to check in and as there was a room available when we reached the hotel at noon, they allowed us to check in immediately. On the last day of our tour as they were fully booked, though we have to check out by noon, they allowed us to use their sauna room to clean up at the end of the day before we leave for the airport at 9pm.

San Francisco reacquainted

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: Great location; a very short walk to Union Square. Easy walk to Market Street - shops and transport.
Cons: Air con was rather noisy at times.
Location: Visit Union Square. Eat at the Cheesecake Factory on top of Macy's overlooking the Square. Great choice of local restaurants & lots not expensive.
An older style hotel that is both pleasant and very comfortable. Our room was clean and well appointed with a view over the inner courtyard with a swimming pool. Good sized bathroom with an ante room. Bath robes supplied. Getting to our room located in the block at the rear involved climbing a double set of stairs. Not an easy task. I believe there is a very small lift for wheelchair access. Excellent restaurant in the hotel on the ground floor. Very tastefully decorated with mirrors and masses of old and historical photos of San Francisco. Free Wifi. We would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Visit local ethnic restaurants for great food - there is a wide variety of choice.

over priced and dirty room

Posted Oct 20, 2014
We paid $300.00 for a dated, dirty, load room. We found hairs in our bathroom. We were told at check in that the hotel was over sold and no other rooms were available. The room was a corner room and was extremely loud. This was our first and last stay.
