Stairs within hotel.

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Lighting in corridors needs improving, very dark.
I have trouble with stairs. I found it difficult to go up and down from one level to the next. There was a small elevator for wheelchairs. I attempted to use but could not operate.

Very nice comfortable hotel in a great location

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Excellent location, very upscale room appointments.
Cons: The room engineer could have agreed that the ac was really not working.
Location: More shopping than you can imagine.
Every aspect of my stay was excellent except for the fact that the air conditioning in the room was not working well and the engineer just told me that it was working and offered me a fan. Otherwise, very helpful desk help, beautiful room, very comfortable bathroom.

Very nice hotel in not a nice area

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Good size room, friendly staff
The hotel was very nicely furnished and the room was particularly nice. All of the staff were very friendly. It wasn't in a very nice area though and we didn't enjoy our stay in San Francisco.

Great central location

Enjoyable stay. Union Square (where hop on hop off bus stops) virtually at your doorstep. Great shopping all around and close to several theatres. An easy walk to AT & T park for those who wish to experience a baseball game. For those who like being in the heart of a big city this is for you.

Over Rated.

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Next door to Lefty O'Douls.
Cons: This hotel needs new ownership or management.
Location: It is located in Union Square.
I will not be staying at this hotel again. First of all the rooms are overpriced. Do yourself a favor and pay a few dollars more to stay at the other hotels around Union Square. Front desk staff is unwelcoming. They never told me they were putting a $150 deposit on my credit card for incedentals. The elevators kept breaking down in the premier section, refrig in room was not working. All in all a very unpleasant experiece. My four day weekend was horrible. My room was prepaid so if I could i would have asked for my money back.

Comfortable hotel in fantastic location

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location, staff local knowledge, free wifi
Cons: Room decor could be updated
Location: Union Square, Cable Car, Market Street, shopping
Stayed for 5 night in August, Hotel staff are extremely knowledgeable about the local area and enabled us to make the most of our time in San Fran. Bar attached to the hotel serves excellent food and bar snacks. Good size room with large bathroom and the hotel has all the amenities you could want.

We were very happy with the hotel. The rooms are very nice and it is very conveniently located. If you have a car there is onsite parking.

wonderful location and generous sized room

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: location. fridge in the room
Cons: parking...much too time consuming and irritating. takes bellmen away from the front and i'm sure is a nightmare for them. valet though were wonderful
location is perfect- right next to union square. room was very generous for san fran. some bell men were nicer than others- i think they were overwhelmed with the number of guests. housekeeping was very kind. parking was less than convenient- you actually have to go down to the lobby, maneuver through the building to another building and down the elevator (or a very comical trip down the stairs which leads you through 4 different doors saying "garage." only the last door is blank and it's actually the garage) OR walk around the block to the other side of the hotel.

This is the only hotel I've stayed at in Union Square that I would highly recommend. Very clean/comfortable/convenient.
