“Beach Bum Havern”

This hotel is ONE block from the beautiful harbor//inlet of Pillar Point. You can walk 3 minutes to the Pacific Beach Trail, then walk or bike 5 scenic miles to Half Moon Bay. There is also the boat dock for area commercial fishermen, several local "joints" open at 6:00am for breakfast (salmon omelet and a Bloody Mary), an upscale Italian Bistro, a short walk to the "Mavericks" world class pounding surf breakers....etc. Hop in your car and 10 minutes down the road is the incomparable community of Half Moon Bay with world class restaurants, shopping and amazing Second Hand Book Stores,, with a reasonable price tag. And since the Harbor View Inn is quite affordable for the area, you will have money to spend. Doesn't get any better than this!

“Just What I Needed”

I was traveling with my pet and this hotel is pet friendly. Since the hotel is small, the parking is convenient when unloading your car. The hotel is in walking distance to the beach and various restaurants--which are also pet friendly!! (only those that offer patio dining--HMB Brewery & the famous Sam's Chowder House) The hotel advertised a place to get a massage. I was able to squeeze one in! The studio is also nearby. I will definitely stay at Harbor View again.

The Hotel was close to the beach and the restaurants were close as well. The management was friendly and helpful! We had a nice view of the ocean from our bay window.

“Great value and fabulous location and view”

A bit old fashioned but very comfortable and affordable for a weekend get-a-way. Half Moon Bay Main St. is full is unique shops and restaurants. North of the town is Pilar Point where Harbor View Inn is located just walking distance from several good restaurants, the harbor and the coast trail.

“Nice, quaint inn by the harbor.”

The hostess was very gracious, warm and welcoming. Very convenient location. Walk to the harbor, the beach and the harbor village where there are a bunch of superb restaurants. All rooms get a view of the harbor. Love the bay windows!

It was a decent room for the price listed. The location of the hotel is great. There is a cafe right next door that is awesome.

“Very Friendly”

Room and grounds were clean. People were very nice. However rooms were very loud and warm. Walls are very thin and you can hear conversations and tv next door. Despite this I would reccomend and will return.

“Satisfactory”

My friend and I booked this hotel because they had free parking. However, we did not realize it was a half hour drive from San Francisco. They said 16 miles from the airport, but was way further than 16 miles. Anyway, the hotel was great for the one night we stayed there. Cheap, clean, and free parking.
