Cons: The amount of money it costs to park at this hotel is too much!

Person behind front desk- insensitive- arrived after 2 and half hours in car and needed restroom as I entered hotel Needed key Back to desk Stepped up next to person being helped gently, politely said I just need key for restroom Person said he helping other- he could have just handed me a key- it was obvious I was going to check in I waited - then he said you can use your room key - I said I hadn't checked in yet--then he realized what a jerk he was Terrible experience won't stay here again Woman clerk sent me back to front desk for key - when I ate all my meals there the waiter gave me a key from behind the bar with courtesy- Shame on her -I know you don't want people off the street- I was polite and don't look like I walked in off the street woman behind bar working about 10:00AM on Sat. Shame on her Won't stay with you again

Close to everything

Came for a quick date weekend in the city, and stayed here. Great location, close to all sorts of things. Chinatown, North Beach, the Embarcadero, etc. Hotel valet parking is a bit pricey at an extra $60, but the rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable.

Near to best places and no traffic

Posted Nov 10, 2014
My family and I went last weekend the hotel is ok but we check in late and they don't clean our rooms, then we call to housekeeper and they said no body can clean rooms at that time (9.30 pm) when I tell front desk lady she was rude, then she try to apologize for everything but nothing else, if I paid for two ninths who cares what time I check in they need to check rooms an clean it, because they don't reduce cost for check in late or out early .

A quiet nights rest in San Francisco!

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Staff was kind and accommodating. Although, the lounge, bar, and reception areas all have mismatched outdated decor. The king room with a bay view was great. A whole wall of windows. I loved that. The location is walking distance to Chinatown, northbeach, and union square. However, a full round trip with a stop in each neighborhood in one afternoon did tucker us out! Lastly, a stay in the city without outside noise to keep you up all hours is hard to find but we did on the 12th floor. It's a good option for all of the above mentioned reasons if you can get a great deal.

Business Trip Overnight Stay

Posted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: Very nice hotel. Nice lobby area, nice restaurant.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of offhand.
Location: Financial district and was there on business, so did not do tourist activities.
Short overnight stay for business. Early check-in requested and room was ready within 1 hour of arriving. Very efficient. Restaurant open and food was very good with excellent service.

Very disappointed - not a 4 start in my book

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Check in staff was very friendly.
Cons: Needs an updating in the hallways. Carpet is soiled and dingy
Location: Right beside China Town and we were able to walk to good restaurants on California
The lobby is underwhelming to say the least. Valet parking is $60 a day. Dirty carpets greeted us on the 14th floor and they even charge for Wi-Fi (our was comped). Location says they are close to the Embarcadero but because of the faulty blind we never even say the bay. To sum it up I will not stay here again. Many better choices in San Francisco for the price.

Perfect location between Union Square and the Piet

Posted Oct 25, 2014
I stayed on the executive level and had access to the executive lounge. The hot chocolate was amazing and all the snacks were so convenient and tasty! It was only about a mile to Union Square and to Pier 39 and right across from China Town. Short walk to little Italy which was awesome.
