Nice hotel close to public transportation

Close to trolley pickup. City bus picks up at hotel. Elevator was not a bad sound. If you use your imagination sounds like the surf! Would stay again.

Cons: just improve everything you see and it will be fine, you can also increase the price, please make it a place where people like to stay
looks like grand central station, so noisy and ordinary lobby, I don't even rate the restaurant and food, horrible

Gutes Stadthotel mit top Lage. Parkhaus gegenüber ist für SF recht billig. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Kann man nur Stadt Sightseeingtour empfehlen

Move from another hotel - last minute

Cons: Attitude of staff.
Location: Right by Union Square & shopping. Safe and desirable location.
My husband and I ended up moving hotels to the Hilton. Most of the staff that I dealt with were very rude and unaccommodating to my needs. I booked a Jr. Suite to make sure our room was nice. In the renovated tower. For some reason they sent me to the wrong (old) tower twice. One of the rooms they even sent me to was being worked on by maintenance. I can not walk that well due to a recent accident, so this task for me was hard. The last time I waited in line to change rooms (for the third time) the staff (Jeffery) kept on rolling his eyes at me about the room and told me to come back in a few hours. I went outside and called the hotel and spoke to a manager. To find the room was ready, he was lying and I could check in at any time. This was close to 4-4;30pm, when I was trying to check in all morning. After getting the correct room and taking my luggage up I was very happy with the room. The room is crazy big, really nice, clean and new. We ended up staying there for the remainder of our trip. It was worth all the fighting with the staff at the hotel to get a new Jr Suite over the old one. I'm glad I stood my ground and fought for it. The walls were a little on the thin side, where you could hear your neighbors, but that would be the only think I would mention that was bad with the room. Everything else was great. I would definitely stay there again but make sure to be firm with the staff from the beginning.

1 night get away

Pros: Close to the things we planned on doing, ballet, restaurant, bars.
Cons: Improve the area right around the hotel.
Location: Good location but again, very near to a poor section of town.
Nice hotel. Close to restaurants and bars. 1 mile from the theatres. Borders on a poor part of town that you don't really want to walk through. Overall a very nice stay.

Charged excessively

I was told at check-in my card was not going threw . So i payed in cash 30 min later i see a charged on my card for the same amount that i had just payed in cash.. So i go to the desk to get my cash back so they refunded my cash back then...okay fine now they told me i should no longer be charged. To my suprise i was charged again at check-out .So i call the hotel and christy tried to humor me with the authorization speach but come on people how unprofessional of you guys to charge me 3 times and due nothing for me not one time did she say sorry or try to understand instead she was really rude unpleasant to deal with and not willing to accommodate me as a guest. I wouldnt recommend this unprofessional and poorly traind facilitie to anyone

Close to everything!

Pros: Clean and has a Starbucks
Location: Lot of shopping, restaurants, and about a 15-20 minute walk to Fishermans Wharf
This is the 4th time I have stayed at this hotel. It never disappoints!

Sf Union stay.

Great hotel located in busy and crazy union square area. Probably could of used a few more people at registration. Busy Mother's Day weekend plus they had I believe 4 conferences going on. A side from that everything you would expect from Hilton brand hotel. Clean rooms, efficient help and Good services.
