Pros: Great location, Starbuck within the building!!!, the staff and of course de comfort of the room.
Cons: At that rate, they should provide free internet!!!!
Location: Located near Union Square (great for shopping and restaurants)
Perfect location, near shopping, car and bicycle rentals, trolley terminal, restaurants, chinatown etc Helpful staff and comfortable rooms. For me the down side is that they charge for the internet in rooms....Who does that anymore????

A little disappointing

Posted Sep 13, 2014
The hotel is in a good location and close to one of the cable car lines which is useful for getting around and seeing the city. However, on arriving at the hotel I had been allocated the wrong room. Although the hotel staff were accommodating and offered me a new room I had to wait outside the new room for almost half an hour, not ideal after travelling for almost 24 hours to get there. The room itself looked good and had a window out to the pool, however, the cleanliness wasn't up to the standard I would have expected of a Hilton hotel - after dropping my phone on the ground I found a large clump of hair (not mine) which wasn't the most pleasant experience. I may have just been unlucky.

Nice hotel, good position

Hotel in handy, central position. Room was big, clean and comfortable despite not being in the refurbished tower. The hotel was very big so not for someone looking for an intimate stay! But a bargain booked through expedia sale.

Glad I paid more for the upgrade but room and bathroom were pretty small. Overall we only slept in the room mostly out

Quite average for the money you pay

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Booked a king size non-smoking room. The front desk guy gave us a smoking room. Had to deal with changing the rooms and going to a different tower with our two suit cases. The front desk couldn't send someone to move our luggage. The bathroom was very small. And for 250$ a night you'd expect at least two complementary bottles of water like all Sheraton hotels but nope! Beat to explore other options in the area.

nice hotel close to everything

Pros: clean, big, polite people, buffet :)
Cons: windows!! US law prohibits to open windows in such buildings but still you need some fresh air going into those rooms.
Location: union square and hilton are located in the perfect spot!! you can go anywhere: by foot, trolley, car, and so forth
it was only for a few days, but overall stay was pleasant. the only drawback compare to years ago, you need to be careful regarding the bill: you might get overcharged and you need to let them know. otherwise you will be paying for their services twice. This is the new era of doing business I guess.

Good location

Stayed for three nights at this hotel. Good location as was near to the shops and restaurants. Have stayed in better hotels. Got talked into upgrading as apparently we didn't have a great room. Was very busy as this hotel is by a lot of corporate businesses so had to queue most mornings for a table for breakfast. Would I go back? No. Think I would have preferred to stay in the port area. An awful lot of homeless outside the hotel who kept asking us for money. Was clean though. Was just an average hotel.

Pros: For a SF hotel, the room was a decent size. The location was good.
Cons: The room seemed a bit outdated.
Stayed here one night prior to running a race the next morning.
