Great central location

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: Location. Room comfort.
Cons: Don't charge so much for parking.
Location: Cable cars. Catch tour bus from here. Lots of restaurants. Get to fisherman's wharf by riding cable car to end then catching the F train north.
This hotel has a great location. We walked to many restaurants and attractions. Tommys Joynt, a great local restaurant is only a few blocks away. The end of the California cable car line is at the corner and its very convenient. The concierge has tickets for tours that you can purchase. The Big Bus double Decker tour bus makes a courtesy pick here early in the morning. The restaurant in the hotel is great for a meal or just a drink. I thought the $40 per day parking free was excessive, but parking in San Francisco seems pretty excessive everywhere. I would stay at this hotel again.

Sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: Sauberkeit

Comfortable room. Reasonable price

Posted May 14, 2015
Pros: Room comfort
Cons: Bell staff not very attentive. Arrived at 4p and got our bags out of the car and into the hotel before bellman showed up
Location: Several good botique eateries within 2-3 block walk.
Bed was very comfortable...great view of the city. Advise using off property parking on Sacremento St. On site parking is expensive.

Family Trip

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Parking lot, staff, breakfast, view, fitness room and pool, and restaurant.
Cons: Price of parking, better circulation of air in rooms, mattresses, a shuttle to central tourist locations, noise dampening windows
Location: Not very walkable to sights, you will need a POV or use transit services. Close to Japan town and Russian Hill. Mix of restaurants around the area.
Checking-in and Checking-out were quick and simple. The staff were great and fairly friendly. The cleaning staff and the restaurant staff were excellent. The room was clean and fairly up-to-date. From what we saw every room has a city view. If you are on the street side (Van Ness Ave.) on the lower floors it can be a little bit of a circus at night especially on the weekend. SF PD and FD insist on blasting their sirens even in the absence of traffic. Fitness room and pool area were nice and had great views. Breakfast was outstanding for your average American. Buffet was full of fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes etc.. Restaurant was clean, open, and modern. Felt very safe. You have to use your room key to access the doors and elevators to the room and pool floors. Parking lot is a little tight for anything larger than a mid-size but was very secure. Overall I would come back here with my family the next time we are in the area.

Good experience

The only complain I have is when I order breakfast at the restaurant hotel. I order the steak and eggs. My steak was cold and not cook how I order it. So I would not recommend the hotel restaurant.

Pros: Beautiful view of the bay.
Cons: Parking fee could be less than $40 per night. There could be continental breakfast.
Location: Near by good places: drug store, liquor store, eateries, Starbucks, and a doughnut shop.
Hotel was great, however, AC was limited. I believe it only went up to 70 and I got hot moving around fast in a small room. Overall, my experience was worth it at Holiday Inn and the beautiful view made up for the AC.

Holiday Inn has yet to disappoint

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Overall my experience was great. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly enough. Holiday Inn hasn't disappointed me yet. Although, I found it unnecessary to ask me for my breakfast ticket so many time when I was having breakfast there. It was a bit rude. Besides that, i enjoyed my stay.

Brilliant. Round the corner from the terminus of the cable car.
