Worst Hotel EverPosted Jul 24, 2015
The beds say queen but the beds are smaller. The popcorn ceiling on the room is peeling off from the corners. Parking is not free you have to pay 40 dollars plus 5.96 of tax for each night you stay there.

Hotel needs updatingPosted Jul 22, 2015
We were put into a room on 6th floor that had a terrible smell like pet urine and musty bathroom. We notified the manager who moved us two doors down. We were told the room was just cleaned. The staff member walked me into the room to make sure it was ok. Upon entering the room it smelled like they had just sprayed air freshner. Room looked ok so told staff we would stay there. Later after the air freshner had worn off the room smelled too. Carpet was also filthy. For the amount of money we were paying to stay there I expected more.

Nice moderately priced hotel in good locationPosted Jul 20, 2015
The location of this hotel is great for getting around SF. It is right at the end of the California cable car line and we never had to wait more than 10 minutes to get on. Our family of 4 had a nice stay here, although we wish the beds were queens instead of doubles and the sink was outside the bathroom. We felt safe and were able to get a few basic groceries for breakfasts and snacks at the nearby Whole Foods market. There are also quite a few affordable restaurants in the neighborhood. We took BART from the airport to the Civic Center station and then took a bus right to the backside of the hotel. You can get your unlimited visitor transportation passes at the information desk at the airport and they'll also give you advice about using public transportation.

nice stay, some noise from construction work.Posted Jul 11, 2015
Cons: front desk staff.
Location: Gold Gate bridge, Pier 39.
we stayed there for two night. the hotel is close to the pier and almost everywhere else. Starbucks coffee is next door. the hotel in under construction, so bit noisy. the front desk staff is just ok, the guy gave me the wrong room key which had been occupied, not good experience. The room is nice and clean. no complain.

Lots of surprisesPosted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: I don't have that much time to list
1st surprise was the extra 30.00 charge for the fourth person in the room. I booked a room with two double beds. Why the charge for extra people? Payed 40.00 plus 5.00 tax per day to park in the Holiday Inn parking garage. The garage entrance was so tight I scratched my mirror on one side of the car and the beams were so low I had to park in an area designated for Vans only...I have an SUV. You have to swipe your card to select a floor in the elevator.. each time you ride. Kind of inconvienient when your hands are fully of luggage or stuff......The room was set up with tree towels.....( i paid an extra 30.00 for my fourth person........Over all....pretty dissapointed

Location: El puente Golden Gate
Confortable lugar, las habitaciones son cómodas y la atención del personal es excelente, no incluye el desayuno pero quedan cerca lugares para desayunar.

Outdated, Old and Dingy (not worth the money)...Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Leaving it...
Cons: Everything (the place needs a complete overhaul).
Location: Location's not good at all
The building is old and outdated. The rooms are old, dingy, outdated and very cramped. There's barely any room to move around the bed. The hallways stink like cigarette smoke for reason (don't know, maybe CA just isn't a smoke free place). The staff is not very friendly, and the maids are somewhat pushy. Overall, I think at $300 / night it is way overpriced (compared to smaller motels/Inns in the area). The location is not great either. Homeless folks everywhere, human excrement / urine all over sidewalks (gotta watch where you step), and a good walking distance form tourist attractions.

The hotel had a facelift but the pool was not kept very clean and it needs some remodel to keep up with the rest clean look of the inside but overall everything was kept clean and efficient
