Location: very handy to Fisherman's Wharf and transit to Chinatown, Embarcadero and downtown
convenient, well-maintained. A bit pricy for Holiday Inn but that's just San Francisco. Have stayed there before, and would do so again. Convenient enough to transit that a car is not necessary for attractions right in SF.

Great wharf locationPosted Sep 23, 2014
Cons: Room was overpriced for being very average. It would have been nice for the price charged to at least have had a small refridgerator in room.
Location: Great wharf location
When checking in they could not find my reservation, they had the wrong spelling of my name. Checked with Expedia and they had the correct spelling. After 10-15 minutes finally got checked. On our last day we set up a taxi pickup for our party for that evening through hotel staff. When cab arrived it was undersized for our requirements, a few minutes later another small cab arrives. The company sent two small cabs instead a minivan. At this point we had very few options, ended up having to use the two cabs thus doubling our cost to the airport.

This was a great location close to fisherman's wharf and public transit. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of close reading options.

Pros: relativity to the Wharf
Location: Close to many restaurants and Fisher's Wharf
The hotel is in a location that is within walking distance to many of the sites, which is nice if you do not have a car.

Cons: See above in: about my experience.
The soda machine on my floor had no product in it! The toilet paper is too scratchy. The chain takes advantage of it's great location. The room service food was terrible. There should be a laundry room on each floor.

Great location with very accommodating staff.Posted Sep 11, 2014
My sister and I arrived at 11:00 in the morning and were hoping we would be allowed to leave our car in the hotel parking lot prior to checking in. Not only could we leave the car, we were checked in at 11:00 and were able to begin enjoying our day.

I think this is a decent hotel very central to many sightseeing opportunities. Like other hotels near Fisherman's Wharf, it is a bit costly however, it is very clean, safe, and the staff is very courteous. I enjoyed my stay.
