Conveniently located with easy accessPosted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: It was excellent given that we had a car. For a fee you can park in front of the hotel, go in and out and use your card until 6:00pm check out day.
Location: It's within walking distance of both the Wharf and North Beach.
We chose this hotel because it was near the San Francisco Institute of Art. We were very pleased with its location and amenities.

Great locationPosted Mar 9, 2014
Hotel is in an excellent location. Easy access to fishermans wharf, 30 min walk to union square, close to Lombard street and the cable car turnarounds. Main hotel lobby seems nice, we stayed in the building next door with the 24 hour Denny's. Pretty basic, could do with a revamp and parking is expensive at $40 per night.

Great hotel near fisherman's wharf, walking!Posted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: The close walk to the wharf.
Cons: Third person charge and parking fee not evident when searching for best price.
Location: All that Fisherman's Wharf has to offer. Trolley tours , Alcatraz, ghiradellis, book Alcatraz ahead of arrival. Sea lions!
We had a long drive up the pacific coast highway from Huntington Beach. The staff were okay but could use more on the desk as you wait in line while they take reservations and inquiries on the phone. In line to check in and out. Big plus we got to keep, our car there the next day while we toured. Though found out about the cost of parking at end of non refundable reservation. Loved the closeness to the wharf and wish we had more time to look around.. The drive up took too long.

Adequate hotel in San Francisco.Posted Feb 24, 2014
We only stayed one night in this hotel. It was a typical Holiday Inn, though it seemed a bit run down. Maybe that's why they were working on it at 7:30 in the morning! GACK! The staff seemed interested in doing their jobs, but they were clearly just doing their jobs. The hotel restaurant was incredibly expensive ($24.00 for the breakfast buffet, which was very limited; $8.00 for a bowl of oatmeal). The bed was comfortable enough, but the noise was awful.

A lot of drama this time!!!Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Closer to wharf than other building 24hr Denny's in building
Cons: More personnel needed!!!
Location: Very nicely located to everything. We took the public transportation the whole time we were there. No need for a car.
We have stayed here before with no hiccups, but this time was a whole different experience. We were put to stay in the building where the 24hr Denny's is. Never stayed in that building before. It's closer to the wharf with a better view. There are two elevators and one was being serviced. Nothing wrong with that, but if you take the stairs up, you cannot open the door to your floor. Really makes no sense other than keeping unwanted people off the floors. Either way, dumb idea. Our first night there we were awaken by a fire alarm at 12:30AM. It had rained so it was really cold. I have a 6 year old so I took the comforter off my bed to keep her warm while we waited for the firemen to turn the fire alarm off. Apparently someone thought it would be funny to set the alarm off. We didn't find it funny at all!! There is a lack of personnel at that building. The front desk was closed most of the time we stayed there. We were headed out to dinner and needed a taxi. No one around. Had to use the house phone to call someone at the other building. Taxi didn't get there for about 20-30 minutes. They also tried to sell me a town car ride instead of a taxi to the dinner place which they said was cheaper. Turns out the taxi was cheaper by $15.00. I actually love this hotel although it may not seem like it with this review. There were just a few things that bothered me THIS time. I will always try to stay here when in the area
