5-day stay at Fisherman's Wharf

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Our stay had a bumpy start due to the heavy rain storm and subsequent power outage. However the staff was very helpful. It's less than 2 mins walking from Fisherman's Wharf and there's Walgreen store close by. I definitely would recommend this hotel!

We've stayed here before and decided to go back since it's so close to the water and we could walk to everything!

方便

第一次來!感覺還不錯!去哪裏都很方便!不過拍車要40USD每天!好貴! 餐廳的人都很nice ⋯希望下次訂會便宜點!這次訂比較貴

easy walk to fishermans wharf

Hotel is fine in regards to your basic amenities, close walk to the Exploratorium, fishermans Wharf and ft mason. Would recommend if you want to stay in this part of city.

Disappointing

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: We liked only the location
Cons: Needs remodel
Location: The location is perfect... On the wharf... Plenty of restaurants and lots to see... All within walking and metro busses everywhere
Thought would be to Holiday Inn standard... Maybe should have tried the Holiday Inn Express 2 blocks over... This is old hotel and needs updating... They do keep them fairly clean for how old the decor is, however "popcorn" ceilings remind me of the 1980's...

Great location

Happy with the hotel location right off the wharf and walking distance to Pier 39. Very close to Golden Gate bridge and the winding road. Not happy with the $40 + tax a night parking charge which is quite high or the extra charge for having 4 people in the room vs 2. Still don't understand why we would be charged more money for 4 people in the room vs 2. If you're planning to have 4 in your room, book with only 2. Doesn't cost the hotel extra to rent out the room, shouldn't cost the person booking extra either. Simple cash grab.

Nice hotel, right on the Wharf.

Posted Dec 2, 2014
We enjoyed being right on the Wharf for easy shopping, dining and just site seeing. We did not stay in the main hotel but at a site nearby, which I initially thought I wouldn't like but it was actually better and closer to the sites. If we come back to San Francisco we'll definitely stay here again.

Luxury? No. But top notch in all other regards.

We stayed in the newly remodeled building. Room was super clean. Staff was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Thanks Joy! And the location was amazing. Walking distance to so many attractions plus Starbucks and a Walgreens. My daughter was doing cartwheels down those clean hallways. :-)

Good value for the money, perfect location

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Hotel was clean and confortable, no luxury but it had everything we needed. The location is perfect, only a short walk to the fisherman's wharf and far enough to the crowds.
