Nice hotel close to SFO/downtown SF.Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: It felt clean, close to SF and safe.
Cons: The staff were competent, but not particularly friendly.
Location: We went to SF both days, and it was not hard to get into the city at all.
This was a nice, clean hotel. We were not able to take advantage of the suite since we only stayed one night, but it was nice to know that the option was available.

Pleasant, Low-Cost Option for trips to San FranPosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Staff, price of room
Cons: Minor improvement would be shower head...mine was functionaly but seems due for a replacement as some of the jets seemed clogged. But that is minor.
Location: Area is pleasant and feels very safe but is devoid of much to do or places to dine. This hotel is a good base (close to 101) to travel from.
Great value in over-priced San Francisco area. You will have to drive to get to city, etc. but very positive cost-benefit analysis when compared to staying in a decent hotel in San Francisco. Staff is positive/nice/courteous. Hotel is everything you would expect from a Homewood Suites.

Anniversary stayPosted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff was great, the house keeper even went out of her way to get us extra towels before we left for the day.
Cons: The breakfast was good, would not say excellent, but at least we did not have to leave to get it.. .
Location: San Francisco is minutes away. We also visited Half Moon Bay, and Santa Cruz while we were there. Everything is so convenient to this location.
We had a great time here. this hotel was very convenient to all the places we were planning to visit. I would recommend this hotel if you are planning on an extended stay having a Kitchen was great for midnight snacks when you get back from a long day and need a snack, they have pop corn in the room which was a perfect late night snack.

Quiet neighborhood but poor sound insulation.Posted Aug 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is my second stay in this hotel. The first time we stayed in a third floor room with a nice view of the Bay. This time the counter personnel made me choose which room I wanted. Poor choice in my part, I thought ground floor would be convenient to haul my luggages in and out. It turns out my window faces railroad. And the guys staying upstairs were having so much fun, fortunately they were done before midnight. I still like this place though. Breakfast is decent and parking is plentiful.

MosquitosPosted Aug 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
We woke up in the middle of our stay, in the middle of the night with mosquitoes in our room. The hotel tried to be accommodating and gave us a free night but my whole family had bites all over the next day. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of our first room was poor. Front desk staff was nice but hard for them to overcome an overall poor stay.

Worth every penny - cheap, convenient, comfortablePosted Aug 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Friendly and welcoming staff, spacious and comfortable rooms, great breakfast with wide variety (eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, waffles, oatmeal, etc.), 24 hour coffee, free shuttle to SFO for easy access to the BART, cheap and affordable for the location. I live in the Bay Area, but I would definitely stay here again.

Another fantastic stayPosted Aug 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
A different Homewood but with the same old service. Please do not under estimate the service and value for money you get when booking the Homewood Suites. This property is ready for some money spending on it but the staff again are priceless.

Good Value but..Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast everyday.
Cons: Rules enforced on noise hours, and having kitchens in the room will bring ants.
Location: near the airport and quick drive to downtown.
our room had sugar ants that got into my bag and all over my clothes. Also, the family next to us did not go to bed until 3am, 3 nights in a row. I called the front desk and nothing changed. The breakfast was good and my kids enjoyed the pool. No second bed, just a hide-a-bed for the kids.
