A Nice Funky hotel

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Friendly & helpful staff & nice rooms.
Cons: More Information for Tourists
Location: Handy to everything by walking. Being right in Downtown the area was a little "Grungy" & lots of homeless people around.
A well presented hotel & the staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was very good, suggest you don't get a room at the front - It was a little noisy. Lots of eating places nearby.

Good location bad condition

Posted Sep 25, 2014
The location was near to the Union Sq but it was in an area where a lot of junk food Resturants and the smell was too bad in every time I entered the hotel, the cleanliness was bad the room was dusty and the floor was dirty even that the carpet is black, the facilities of the bathroom were not bad, I bought many things from target by the internet but two of my packages were lost in the hotel i don't now why , the rooms were too close to each other and I could hear the neighbours, the corridors where enough to one person to walk through, at the end the photo of the room is overestimating and it does not reflect the real

Dear Nahla, Thank you for staying at Hotel Diva. I'm sorry to hear your stay with us was not as pleasant as you would have expected. Please contact the hotel so we can locate your package if it was indeed shipped on time. Any package received after a guest had checked out is sent back to the sender. I would also verify with Target. We look forward to welcoming you back at Hotel Diva. Best regards, Virgil Lopez Hotel Manager

Pros: Style and location.
Cons: Lower the rates, pretty expensive.
Location: Starbucks right next to hotel and very close to Union Square, could not be better.
I stayed there with a friend. Great location, great hotel, wished the rates were not that high.

Girls weekend for bachelorette

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: The location. The decor and design of the rooms. The amenities nearby.
Cons: Nothing. It was awesome.
Location: Union Square shopping, Redwood Room bar, Ruby Sky club, dinning and bars all minutes by foot. Walking to Chinatown, Little Italy and Fishermans Wharf.
This hotel lives up to its name with its posh and chic decor. Although it's very feminine in style, it is by no means for women only. We're from the Bay Area (I just moved to Atlanta) and spent the weekend at the hotel for a bachelorette party weekend and it is PERFECTLY located to everything walking distance. We even walked the 3-4 miles to Fishermans Wharf unaware of the distance since there was so much to stop to do, look at, eat, drink on the way (Shopping, Chinatown, Little Italy). I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean, modern, cute place to stay with super helpful staff.

Great place for shopping

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Unique in its own way.
Cons: Improve lighting in rooms.
Location: Union Square. Shopping district in S.F. Close to public transportation was a bonus.
Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was o.k. found it to be to dark even with the lights on. The bathroom was way to small to move around in. To many panhandlers in front of the hotel entrance that was disturbing.

Honeymoon get away

We came to San Fran for our honeymoon. Hotel Diva was the perfect location. Walking distance to union square and market st. The room was clean and staff super helpful. Even though it was downtown the noise wasn't so bad.

Great, stylish, friendly, and great location

Posted Aug 21, 2014
The Diva is a really great hotel, conveniently located a block from Union Square. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the whole place is sharply designed. Complimentary sake from 5 to 7 was well appreciated and I always like free wifi. And having a Starbucks on the ground floor, connected from the lobby, was handy. The only downside is one not in the hotel's control - a lot of outside noise. The workers at the restaurant connected to the back alley were dumping glass bottles in the bins at 3:30 in the morning each day. Even on an upper level floor, it was pretty loud. But all in all, highly recommended.
