Beautiful new rooms

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: Very close to everything we needed.
Cons: Carpet the floor outside the elevator rooms.
Location: San Francisco. enough said
The d├ęcor is lovely. The staff pleasant. DO not stay in a room with tile in front of the door when you are near an airport. In the very early morning hours, everyone going past our room wheeling their luggage sounded like the beginning of an earthquake. For 2 hours it went on . Would I stay there again ... Yes!

disappointing

This hotel came up as an excellent deal on Expedia...however, we have learned our lesson. This hotel is very old and in poor shape. On a positive note, we were pleased with the gentleman at the front desk - his customer service was great.

Pros: The anonymity provided.
The room fit our need. Location was perfect. Close enough to the city yet away from all the city traffic.

Cheap. Good if you have an early flight. Poor wifi

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: Free Shuttle
Cons: Wi-fi
Location: Close to the airport
We were there for just on night and we only booked it because it was inexpensive and also had a shuttle at 4 in the morning. The room was clean and decent sized. The big problem was the wifi. It was extremely slow! We used our phone networks for all the internet we needed. The other problem was that we smelled some sort of smoke or something burning at night but then some one from the staff came and used the room freshener in the hallways outside. We got the free shuttle at 4 in the morning which was good.

It was okay...

I didn't enjoy my stay here at all. The TV didn't work, the walls were dirty and dusty, and the bathroom had stains. It wasn't worth the price.

Slept like I was at Fred Flintstones.

Pros: The staff.
Cons: The hotel needs to be remodeled. It needs new comfortable beds.
Location: Nothing near by. You have to walk a half hour across a steep bridge to get something to eat in a less than desirable neighborhood' but good food .
The elevator door was so strange. The outer door was like a regular room door. The inner door didn't even close all the way. The hotel was located in an out of the way place, so you had to walk a ways to get something to eat. The staff was very good and went out of their way to help you. The room was satisfactory, but the mattress was so hard that I hurt for three days and didn't get a good night's sleep before our 14 & a half hour flight.
