Great locationPosted Feb 28, 2015
Staff was outstanding, location 1 block from Union Square, lots of restaurant choices. No need for a rental car.

Walls were soooo thin.Posted Feb 26, 2015
Woman in next room coughing kept me up all night. Even though I paid for two nights, I only stayed for one.

Weekend stayPosted Feb 26, 2015
The bed was a little too firm and they didn't say that we had to pay extra for parking either $45 per day or find a public parking which is always full around that area

Funky boutique hotelPosted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Location to downtown was perfect. Small hotel, only 103 rooms. Rooms nicely decorated. Staff very friendly. Room price was reasonable.
Cons: Lighting in the bathroom could be improved. A couch in room rather then chairs.
Location: Location was perfect for us, lots of restaurants, pubs and shopping very close by. Waterfront was just a streetcar ride away.
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel G for 5 nights in mid February, the hotel is located a couple of blocks from Union Square, great location. Lots of different kinds of tranportation to take you to the waterfront (trolley $6.00 per ride, streetcar $2.25 and bus) Room was clean and a nice size for the two of us. Would have liked a couch in the room, it would have been more comfortable then the 2 chairs provided. Lighting in the bathroom could definitely be better. The king size bed was very comfortable (Room 402) corner room. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating, it was our 40th Wedding Anniversary and they upgraded our hotel room. Try the diner across the street, I believe it was called Pinewood, great service and good food. I was disappointed with the Klyd Cafe in the Hotel, a coffee cost me $3.50 US and they had no cream, whats up with that????, their a coffee shop. Did not go back. There was an expresso machine in the room.

Minimalist on Union SquarePosted Feb 17, 2015
Cons: Walls are a bit thin, you can hear loud people in the hallway, cooling unit was a bit loud too. The bathroom could use another shelf or table/stand.
The staff was just lovely, and the hotel is simple and perfect for those looking for a clean, unfussy space in a great location. Beds were very comfortable, amenities were right on, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the attached Klyde restaurant was nice but a bit overpriced.

Good modern looking interior hotel for the price.Posted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: Modern renovated look.
Location: Location was a little sketchy, homeless people everywhere. But, it is located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, so everything is near by.
Went to San Francisco for business. Didn't spend much time at the hotel but every night I came back from running around the city the room was spotless; bed was made, bathroom was clean, coffee pods (for the nespresso) were restocked. No complain about the staff, except they charged me for a san pellegrino I did not consume from the nini fridge (not a big deal). The room safe was nice to have to keep my laptop safe when I was away.

Nice locationPosted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: Room was sparkling clean everyday, front desk guys were helpful and very friendly.
Cons: more comfortable sitting furniture.......
Location: close to Union Square, shuttle and bus pickups. And across from the best restaurant ever...Daily's.
Nice hotel...bed was comfy but the sitting furniture was very uncomfortable. Also did not like that there was not any room at all in the bathroom for toiletries.
