An oasis in Japantown

Posted Jul 3, 2015
At the last minute we needed another night in San Francisco. We found the Kabuki on Expedia and it was a great choice. Quiet, clean, a bit off the beaten path in Japantown, but on the bus line and close to the Van Ness cable car. Many restaurants and bars along Post and O'Farrell, and of course lots of Japanese food in and around the Japan Center. The staff was great and there is reasonable parking under the Japan Center if you don't want the valet parking. We'd stay there again.

Boutique hotel in the heart of Japantown.

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Cons: Maybe the soundproofing. At night, (we were in a corner room) we could hear the elevators going off the whole time.
It's a very cute and posh hotel with Japanese architecture, landscaping, and furnishings and yet it's very modern. It has all the amenities -- free wifi, a little fitness center and a business center where you can print out your boarding passes for free. The room we were in was very comfortable, and what I love was how efficient and thorough housekeeping was when cleaning our room. The bathroom is very interesting --- the toilet is in a separate room so if one wants to shower and the other wants to do a #2, it's possible. :) It's located a few miles away from Fisherman's Wharf. Very walkable but there is no issue flagging down a taxi. We could hail one in seconds. As it is in the heart of Japantown, you will have a plethora of sushi and ramen restaurants to choose from. Every meal we had was either sushi or ramen. I loved that about this place! And it's pet-friendly too! The staff is warm and welcoming. They attended to our every need (and anticipated a few of them too!). They are the reason why I constantly stay at Kabuki Hotel whenever I'm in SFO.

Overall nice place. A little bit away from the tourist district, but Uber or taxi were typically less than a minute away.

Beautiful Hotel

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Great hotel. Sketchy neighbors hood around JapanTown. Beautiful View and rooms! I suggest using the Uber App to get around Frisco... Overall, great stay! I hate that parking in the hotel cost $52 a day or if u park in the garage underneath $23 a day. Parking for people who stay should be free

Nice property, due for remodel

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Staff is friendly, location is easy. Tons of great Asian restaurants nearby. Rooms are nice and many have nice views, but the bathrooms are about due for a remodel. The grout is dirty. Bath tubs are nice and deep, but showers are a bit low for taller people. Overall it is a great property though. I stay here fairy often and really like it.

Different from you everyday hotel

Posted May 31, 2015
Overall it was very interesting, and the Japanese deep soaking tub was amazing, if anything that was my favorite part of the whole visit. Be careful of all the hidden cost though the snacks, water and etc. And for spa and massages you HAVE to schedule it 24 hrs prior so if you're only staying a night make sure to do that before hand. i stayed for 1 night and I payed 230 for it, I don't think it was really that worth it.

Hotel para viajes de negocios pobre mantenimiento.

Posted May 25, 2015

Sehr gutes Hotel in Japantown

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: Asiatischer Einrichtungsstil, geräumige Zimmer.
Location: Direkt in Japantown, das Einkaufscenter "Japan-Center" in direkter Nachbarschaft. Buswochenkarte zu empfehlen.
Hotel liegt in Japantown, Bushaltestellen in direkter Nähe.
