Love the Location

Posted Jul 30, 2015
The room was beautiful with comfortable beds. Wish the Restaurant served more than breakfast and not closed on Monday's. Other then that I loved this Hotel and the Staff was very friendly. Will be back for sure.

Quaint Hotel in San Francisco

Posted Jul 24, 2015
We were more than pleased with our 5 night stay at Hotel Majestic. The suite we stayed in was very comfortable and we looked forward to being there at the end of a day of SF sightseeing. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The food at Café Majestic was delicious and it was nice to have a choice to eat there rather than go out every night or morning on those mornings or evenings we preferred to relax and have a more leisurely routine. Would definitely recommend to friends and will absolutely stay at Hotel Majestic during our next trip to SF!

No sleep:(

Noise levels sounds like your on the street. The layout of the bathroom made you feel like you were in a cubicle toilet.

Old Style Hotel

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Romantic settings-dining room was very old hollywood
Cons: some of the furniture is junk
Location: It was near to where I used to live that why I picked it-in Pacific Heights neighborhood near Van Ness Ave-20 minute walk to downtown
Charming and old world style so if you want modern and brand new-this is not the hotel for you

Fabulous restoration of a Gilded Age mansion.

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: We liked its faithful restoration the most.
Cons: I think that all hotels should provide their guests with a self-serve laundry. But the Majestic isn't alone in lacking this facility.
Location: It's on Russian Hill, within easy walking of Japan Town and the Fillmore District.
This is the most charming and beautifully restored hotel my wife and I have ever stayed in. And the dining room serves great breakfasts that are not at all expensive.

Disappointed.

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Outside & Lobby; Historic
Cons: Cleanliness!! Please put more effort into cleaning rooms! Screens on windows!
Location: Mels Diner; Tommy's Joynt- Great Food!
We had the tiniest room I've ever seen. When we entered our window was wide open, no screen, with a fire escape that leads to the next floor down where the window was also open next to the stairs that all the guests walk down. Definitely not a safe feeling. The room was very stuffy and hot, NO AC or fan! Wish I would've noticed this in the amenities. The tv was mounted on the wall hanging sideways, not a big deal but just annoying to watch that way. Only the major things were clean, toilet, tub, sink and bed. Otherwise pretty much nothing else had been cleaned in some time. The doors and walls, the headboard, the window sills, everything was dirty. There was trash and personal items from the previous person on the floor. The headboard actually wasn't even attached to the bed so as soon as we sat down it would bang against the wall. The room also had a very stenchy smell. Thankfully we were not planning on spending a lot of time in our room, but the time we did spend was uncomfortable. Parking is also valet at $35 a night. We were lucky to find a spot right in front on the weekend for free.

This hotel is like a motel, Too old facilities

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rebuild this hotel building.
Location: Cant walk to downtown, need to use bus taking 15 min.
Location of this hotel is ambiguous to be convenient. you need to take 15-20 min. to go to downtown. Hotel staff are ok with kindness, but The facilities were too old fashion and small room. I would never recommend.

ホテルに4泊しました。 清潔でスタッフの方々も親切で対応は良かったです。 建物は昔ながらの懐かしさがありました。 知人宅が徒歩で20分程の所にあり便利も良かったです。
