2-night Imperial room stay

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: The steam room and sauna in the athletic center are very nice. Imperial Club benefits are very nice. Room was very quiet, clean and comfortable
Cons: The television guide programing needs updating
Location: Chinatown gate is just around the corner, old SF Mint (open sunday)
Had a King Imperial Club room for twon nights which included wine, beer snack happy hour in the club room each night- along with club room continental breakfast or resaurant breakfast buffet each day. Hotel is in a great downtown location. Valet parking a bit pricey, but over-all experience was just about perfect. Will definitely visit again.

Great hotel near Union Square

Posted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: Enjoyed the room - beds were comfortable and I was upgraded (Expedia Member for the win!). Loved the standing shower with a separate bath.
Cons: Gym access is $25 (regardless of length of stay). No water bottles in gym - just the paper cups. That doesn't work for a treadmill.
Location: Union Square is really close as is Market. Easy to get around downtown area.
My second time staying here - it's a great hotel. Was there on business.

Hotel is excellent (if you must stay in SF)

Posted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, excellent hotel staff.
Cons: The $50 + tax mandatory valet parking is an absolute rip-off. Charging for internet is just another slap in the face.
Location: This is SF, you can't walk 50 feet without finding something to do :)
Hotel Nikko was a wonderful experience. The hotel staff were great, and SO polite. A very welcome thing after driving around in town up and down the steep hills of treachery. Our room was quiet and everything was incredibly clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved everything about the hotel but I thought that amenities like the health club should have been free :)

Nice hotel right in the city

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Cons: Room condition (doors, carpet, curtains...)
The hotel is very nice and the rooms are comfortable, although not in great condition (but ok). The hotel is localized in a central area and within the city. I would recommend the hotel if you are not looking for something fancy, but a place to stay.

I was only there for one night, but it's very clean and the staff was excellent. It's also in a great location downtown close to a lot of very good shopping.
