Great hotel and good location

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Hotel was in a good location - next to Westfield shopping mall & round the corner you were straight onto Market Street where you can jump on the F street car to Pier 39 & Fisherman's Wharf. Also when you are on Market Street and cross the road, you can catch the cable car (in between Forever 21 and Gap). The hotel was not that far from Union Square too where you can do more shopping or grab a coffee and sit at the square. Staff were really friendly and helpful when asking for directions, recommendations to restaurants and information about bike rental and bus tour. We stayed a week at SF and it was our first time - get 48hr bus tour ticket (will inc night tour, 3 walking tours, entry to aquarium of the bay and Sausalito tour) perfect way of seeing the sights, hire a bike and ride across the Golden Gate bridge and go on segway tour (amazing!) Room was tidy and clean, although they were in the middle of changing the locks and moving away from the swipe card entry. Free wi-fi within hotel and room. Also there is a games room in the hotel which looked really good and saw some people use this facility.

Location: Very near market. .5 miles to Moscone or Union Square.
Zetta is modern and hip. Clean, quiet, and spacious. Unlike most the hotels near Moscone and Union Square you get a good sized room with a bathroom. The bar/lounge is very trendy. The Restaurant is very good though the menu is limited. The staff is very friendly. The location is right on the edge of sketchy, but not bad.

Well suited to business travelers.

Pros: I love the lobby bar which was a nice place to sit and have a drink. I thought the room was very comfortable and has modern amenities.
Cons: There is not much they can do about it, but the room was a bit small.
Location: The location is very central. It is close to Market street, The Metreon and Union Square. BART is also close by.There is plenty to eat/do in the area.
We were going to be spending the night dancing at a place near this hotel so it was conveniently located for us. The hotel lobby has a bar in it and it was a hip little spot to drink until 11pm. Which we did. The front desk staff and the valet were on the ball and very polite. The check in process took a couple of minutes. Heading up to our room was interesting. The Hotel is a little bit of a maze, but the signs are very clear. The rooms are all grouped together by 4 in these little alcoves. Because of this odd design the rooms look inward toward each other and there are some very clear views of the rooms across from you. We had a room that was not facing the street side, so we don't know if those rooms have more private views. The room itself is very modern and very clean, but a little small. It had a lot of amenities that are suited to a solo business person who would be using their room for work or after hours as well. Other than the size and the views the room as very comfortable.

Amazing hotel

The hotel was in an excellent location! The lobby was always busy with people having drinks, playing games in the game room and having dinner. The decor was outstanding - the frames in the room, the glasses chandelier, something you've never seen before. Staff was so helpful and courteous and SO polite !! Best hotel and would recommend it 100% to friends.

Great Decor and close to shopping

Posted Mar 11, 2014
Super fun hotel lobby , good bar , close to shopping and food- try The Grove for lunch. All the staff were great , very friendly and didn't miss once with recommendations. Down side was a little noisy room wise, could here the hallway chatter and ghe SOMA neighborhood is gritty at times. Lots of homeless folks amongst the retail spaces but easy to get too and walk anywhere.

Cool Hotel + Great Location + Wonderful Staff!

Posted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: Location was wonderful, the vibe was laid back and cool. Staff could not have been better.
Cons: There was a delay in check-in, we'd had a long flight and were disappointed that we had to wait almost an hour past the designated check-in time.
Location: Blue Bottle Coffee in Mint Square is a must! Chinatown is walking distance, go to the R&G lounge. Farallon is a must for nice seafood in Union Square.
My friend and I were visiting San Francisco for our birthdays, and stayed at Hotel Zetta this past week for 4 nights. We had such a great time, I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit! The central location is pretty much ideal, and the room was very contemporary, comfortable and clean. We loved having complimentary the Illy espresso to wake up to every day in our room. We also made full use of the concierge - they all recognized us by the end of our stay, as we had many special requests, but I didn't feel that they were annoyed. Bartenders at both the lobby bar and the neighboring restaurant The Cavalier were awesome as well. The staff were all so friendly and helpful in providing transportation advice and directions, restaurant recommendations, holding our luggage at the beginning and end of our stay, and even arranged to have a rental car brought right to us with a 30 minute notice for a spur of the moment trip to Muir Woods one afternoon. Honestly everyone in the hotel was great; I've stayed at nicer hotels with terribly unfriendly staff and can appreciate good customer service.

modern hotel near Union Square and ACT Theater

Posted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Excellent decor, good food in lobby restaurant, good location for Union Square.
Cons: Full length mirror in room. Better quality soap at sink. Easier wifi connection. Newspapers in lobby.
Location: Walking distance from Union Square, ACT, the Ferry Building, the Exploratorium, and much more.
Excellent modern decor and art. Very pleasant lobby bar/sitting area. Efficient valet parking system ($50 + $7 tax per 24 hours). Good food at lobby restaurant (Cavalier). The room was nicely decorated and very clean, smallish, windows facing other windows about 20 feet away so needed to keep blinds closed which made the room a bit dark and gloomy. No full length mirror in room. The heating system blew a strong breeze across the bed and so both of us were a bit uncomfortable sleeping. The room was good for a business stay, less enjoyable for a romantic or pleasure visit.
