“Impressed my friends and myself”

Quick cab ride to all locations and attractions (a bit costly). My friends and I chose to meet up in San Francisco this year. They stayed in and around Union Square and I found this location on Expedia. My room turned out to be the nicest and least expensive of the group. Shuttle service to the airport is offered at this location which was another plus. All around the service I received from the staff at this location was also superb.

“I thought it was a good value for the money”

We both thought it was a good value for the money. It was close to the airport which was nice when we left. The room had all the amenities you could ask for and they were very accomodating.

“Better than Expected”

I booked this hotel due to its convenient location and low price. Turns out the stay was far more pleasant than expected. I have traveled all over and stayed in different hotels but this is definitely worth it (though can't say it for every Howard & Johnson). Positive comments about this hotel are- 1. close to airport and highway 2. upgraded furniture 3. upgraded and clean beddings and bathroom What elase can a travel need other than these? Thanks a lot.

“Pay some places still let you have dogs”

The hotel was clean and easy to get to with their shutle. It was great that they let a person who is staying over night for a flight stay with a dog with a little extra cost. It is good to know that you have to pay for you dogs stay with cash they wont take a car for it so you will want to budget that into the cash that you are caring on you.

“Very good for the price.”

Honestly, I have no idea what the other reviews are about. Maybe they expected 5 star hotel quality for less than $100 a night. My room was clean, my sheets were average (really you're staying at a motel and complaining about the thread count of the sheets?), there was a normal bed spread (actually nicer than I've ever seen in a motel), and also a blanket under the spread. Everything worked in my room (tv, phone, microwave, fridge, alarm clock, hair dryer, coffee pot). The 3 employees I spoke with were very nice. It's right by the airport, there's a free shuttle to and from the airport. The neighborhood seemed perfectly fine, but it's not a touristy area. There's a steak house right next door, and a Denny's nearby. I'm sure I'll stay there again, next time I'm in the area.

“Comfortable”

Hotel was clean and comfortable. A bit too close to the interstate. Quite noisy. Breakfast was good but no where to sit. Overall, value for money for a budget hotel.

“Good basic place to stay to have a bed”

The H.J. had a good continental breakfast..simple cereal,toast coffee,juice muffins. It was a little old but it had a fresh coat of paint outside and in the rooms...nice comfortable simple rooms, everything worked..although after taking a shower we noticed the carpet was wet on the other side of the wall..in the room area. They had Wi-Fi..no pool..just a basic no frills place to hang ur hat for a night.

“Value”

It was worth for what I paid- everything was satisfactory.
