Pros: location, atmosphere.
Next time will catch the BART in from the airport as it is SO close to the hotel entrance.. Close to most things in an easy walking city. Great restaurants close by and city transport easy and close.

Very nice

The only thing that would be helpful would be get some new lighting in the bathrooms it's not a living room you need to see in there. The make up mirror is even worse. I had a wonderful time perfect but I might have scared people there since I couldn't see

Close to everything in San Francisco

Modern with every room facing the outside of the building. Large central auditorium but no relaxing by the pool area that I could see. The hotels position in San Francisco is it's major selling point.

Just about as good as it gets in San Francisco.

Huge room, great bar, convenient location, and what we're really all looking for - a super comfortable bed in a quiet room.

Hyatt's are dependable

Booked the hotel literally on our way up to San Francisco. Good rate. Good location between waterfront and Union Square. Older Hyatt but updated and comfortable.

Elegant Hotel and Perfect Location

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: I really liked everything from the rooms, balcony, lobby and location. Not much to dislike.
Cons: Parking but that's always a problem in SF.
Location: As I said above, you can walk to the piers, to some outstanding restaurants in the financial district and lots of shopping at the Embarcadero.
I know this hotel has been around for a long time and it's been 20 plus years since I last stayed here. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and well kept the hotel is and just loved the balcony and view of the Bay. The location is convenient to shopping, restaurants and the piers. This will be a more frequent destination when enjoying a trip to San Francisco.

Awesome looking hotel!

Pros: I think their beds were the most comfortable. Architecture of the building was great.
Cons: Parking was a little on the steep side.
Location: Wonderful restaurants across from hotel. Baseball game within walking distance.
Staff was very friendly and helpful! Hotel was easy to find. View of bay from room. Room was very nice, clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and soft! Went to an evening baseball game and was within walking distance about 1 mile. Wonderful walking along the piers!

Pros: Location
Cons: Fixing the patio door
Location: Close to everything.
Overall good. Sliding patio door did not work. Had to be fixed 3 times never did get it working. Great location. Staff was polite. Beds and pillows were excellent.
