This hotel is in great location! Just three blocks away from Powell Street Train Station, which is also where you can take the Cable Car which takes you to Chinatown and Fisherman's Wharf. There's a Westfield Mall across the train station and lots of nice restaurants and bar to eat and hang out! The staff and owner of the hotel are really nice, very accommodating, and friendly. Would highly recommend!

"Great location, easy ferry access to downtown SF"
We really enjoyed Tiburon and The Water's Edge Hotel. It was a great way to visit San Francisco, based in the quiet town with easy ferry access to downtown SF. The hotel was great. The waterfront 2nd story deck was a treat that we used pretty much every day for happy hour, a place to eat our lunch, and just to relax before going out for dinner. All in all it was great. We did have a cleanliness issue our first day but the staff took care of it immediately. Our original room was on the first floor with no privacy and was very dark. We asked to be moved up to the 2nd floor and they were able to accommodate us. We got a bundled package with airfare and clearly had the worst pick of rooms at the Hotel, not really a fault of theirs, just a repercussion of a low cost bundle from Expedia. The 2nd floor room we did get was street view, which we actually kind of liked because it's a cool little walking town and it was fun to be in the middle of. The garbage truck doing its thing at 7:15 on consecutive mornings was a drag but again not the end of the world for us. The staff was great, we joined the free wine and cheese happy hour each night and totally enjoyed our 4 days in Tiburon, thanks to the Water's Edge.

A beautiful inn in a beautiful location. You can walk to the beach and the Moss Beach Distillery (closed, alas, when I arrived at 8:00 pm). Breakfast is included, and was good but a little eccentric, consisting as it did of three all-starch courses: a raspberry pastry, followed by crepes, followed by a croissant. Still, overall, a good place to stay with friendly, helpful staff.

We very much enjoyed our one night stay at the Inn, our only regret being that we couldn't stay another night! Conveniently right off the 101, but far enough way to avoid the noise - looking out over the Marina and Bay...it was wonderful. Rooms nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Sweet little bar and restaurant downstairs for a quiet evening - continental breakfast delivered to your room. Mini bar, snacks and Keurig coffee makers. VERY spacious! We highly recommend the Inn. Staff was extremely pleasant!

Wonderful hotel, with a terrific San Fran location. About 30 minute walk to the Piers, through Chinatown and parts of Little Italy, which made the walk fascinating. Good restaurants very near hotel, about a 10 minute walk to the BART line, making their no need for a car. We also walked to a bike rental shop and rode over the Golden Gate bridge to Sausalito, riding back on the ferry. That was a great time.

We enjoyed a delightful stay at the Inn at Union Square last week. The ambiance and attention to detail of the hotel was obvious from the start. Ann greeted and checked us in with friendliness and helpful suggestions for sites to enjoy in the area. She offered some excellent suggestions for us to experience a delicious lunch close to the Inn. The location was perfect, in the center of Union Square. We walked across the street to see the Holiday decorations and skating rink that was set up for skaters in short sleeves and shorts enjoying the 80 degree weather.
Kudos to the staff and management of the hotel with their attention to details. Our room was clean, most comfortable and well-appointed. We loved the delicious breakfast and the afternoon wine, cheese and fruit offerings. They were most welcome both before and after our busy day of touring San Francisco.
Indeed, we loved our stay at the Inn at Union Square and look forward to our next trip back so we can experience this wonderful hotel again.

Beautiful view, walks on the beach, great experience at the resturants. Just ask the local people where to go and they will give you great advise. Down the road is a place to go horse back riding, will have to try this on next trip. Early morning walk on beach is peaceful. Very nice place to relax and take in the view. Local people recommend Sams Seaffod whcih is next to the Inn ($$$) and has fire pits to roast Smora's which you can purchase and is for 4 people for $20.00.
Barbar's seafood which is a red shack just down the road($$). Great food at both resturants
