Location, staff and little extras!Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: The rooms were clean and elegant and seemed true to its San Franciscan flavour. The wine and cheese reception every night and continental breakfast.
Location: Close to Union Square, trolleys, world class shopping and the Bart! Easy walk to Chinatown and lots of MUNI stops to get anywhere in city.
Excellent experience from check in to check out! The location cannot be beat and the charm of this 30 room hotel and it's staff are what completed our memorable stay here for 5 nights....

Amazing service in a beautiful boutique hotel!Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: Service, comfort, value for money paid, wonderful amenities and décor, cocktail reception, breakfast, staff interaction, location.
Location: Shopping, restaurants galore, close to cable cars and public transit.
This gem is right off of Union Square. Selected it based on amenities and price, and got more than we planned for! The staff is incredible and very service oriented. Room upgrade upon arrival...a nice surprise, as was the overall size of the room. The attention to guests' comfort is impeccable. The bed was SO comfortable. There was a lovely European-style breakfast served every morning--pastries, breads, fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs and fresh squeezed juice. Also took part in a nightly wine & cheese cocktail reception. Angela was a most gracious hostess and spent a good amount of time providing restaurant suggestions, shortcuts, directions, and general travel tips. Our room didn't have a super view, but it was off of the street and QUIET, which made sleeping in a busy city easy to do.

Best, Most Welcoming HotelPosted Jul 29, 2015
I travel a lot for work, and stay in hotels every 2-3 times a week. For my holiday with my girlfriend I wanted something that didn't have that sterile hotel feeling. It was a sad day when we left The Inn At Union Square. We loved every minute of our stay, especially the Wine and Cheese hour!! We were amazed with the helpfulness and overall generosity of all the staff. I will be staying at the Inn again!!

Close to all transit, shopping, restaurants.Posted Jul 16, 2015
We were warmly welcomed and checked in quickly. Hotel comes with breakfast, 'happy hour' (nice surprise) and evening cookie. The room was very clean and comfortable, although there is no air conditioning, the room has a ceiling and tower fan for comfort during the night. Staff were very helpful in itinerary planning and advice on getting us where we wanted to go. Happy!

Great spot in Union SquarePosted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Breakfats, managers wine reception, and the hospitality of the staff.
Cons: Not much. Our room got a little stuffy but fans were provided and the window was there to cool it down.
Location: Union Square is in the heart of San Francisco, so the hustle and bustle of this city is right outside these doors.
The hotel itself was convenient and walkable, right off Powell St and Union Square. The rooms and premises were always clean. The best part about this hotel is the staff. They'll get to know your name, and takes time to answer your questions. Each morning there was a great continental breakfast for us and the nightly manager's reception with wine and snacks was the perfect end to a long day out in the town. They even set homemade cookies out each night for their guests. This is the type of hotel that caters to you and makes you feel welcome. I felt like I was treated like a part of the family the whole time I was there, and my wife would concur. She especially liked the lactose-free options at the breakfast.

Super zentrale Lage nahe Union Square, Market Street, Cable Car,... Zimmer sind klein aber sauber und in Ordnung und für kurzen Aufenthalt ausreichend. Parkmöglichkeiten in Mason Street zwischen Post Street und Geary Street, aber teuer.

Union square gemPosted Jun 23, 2015
Location: On the doorstep of Union Square. Couldn't be more convenient
Lovely hotel. Very close to shops and central to everything. Hotel has lots of character, with period features and matching decor but all in a very positive way. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice touches include wine and cheese each evening and warm cookies before bed. Breakfast is simple but should cover every taste. Excellent choice in every way

Great location, helpful staff. It's tiny but charming - and the room I had was VERY roomy. The free breakfast was excellent.
