good location great comfortPosted Feb 25, 2014
This is a high end hotel in a great location next to the convention center. Room was comfortable and quiet. Nothing exceptional but certainly comparable to other 4+ stars hotels. I had little interaction with the staff but check in and out was most efficient. My first thought was that it was strange and atypical that the room had no coffee machine...Only to find it tucked away in a cabinet right before checking out! I did not make use of the spa, pool etc so can't comment on that. It was a great stay, would recommend and go again.

What a spectacular hotel!!!!!!!Posted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: big rooms, modern, clean
Location: Shopping center, Chinatown.
I booked this hotel because of the location and I am so happy I did. This hotel has an amazing entrance which brings you in this grand lobby. Everything is immaculate and modern. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. I got a double full bed and they charged me $20 to upgrade me to a bigger size room and bed. The rooms are quite large and beautiful. I was very impressed by the bathroom which was very bright. We had big windows and a huge bed. This is the most I have been impressed by a hotel in a very long time. If I am ever again in San Francisco, this is the only place I will stay! I should also add for all you shoppers, that there is a great shopping center with all different stores two blocks away from the hotel.

Great service/Great amenities/Great timePosted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: Pretty much everything. No complaints.
Cons: The food was a little pricey, but both the quality, uniqueness, and experience made it well worth the expense.
Location: It is well centered. Its in walking distance to shopping, Union Square, China town, and transportation to Nob Hill and Fisherman's Wharf.
The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. All the facilities (room, pool, gym) were well kept. The restaurant food and drinks were well worth the money. I family had a great stay in San Francisco.

Nice hotel, good location, enjoyed my stay.Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Like most 5 stars, I enjoyed the 24 hr room service and the laundry services, both of which I utilized during my stay.
Cons: Really no complaints.
Location: Plenty of places to walk. Close to shopping, bars and restaurants are plenty. Grocery store/Target a couple blocks away. Great location.
This is a newer hotel which is nice as a new hotel seems to be a rarity in SF. Room was clean and of a decent size. I was lucky enough to get upgraded to a club room on the top floor simply by asking. Unbeknownst to me, my room came with a buffet breakfast for two, but when I went to redeem it, they said it was only good for one person (even though two separate ppl, two separate occasions both confirmed it was for two). Buffet is ok. Food looks great, but like most buffets it's luke warm (one of my biggest pet peeves) and the taste was just ok. The fruit was fresh, and the bacon was tasty, but the french toast was as hard as croutons and the oatmeal brulee was soupy and bland. They did give me a bill the first day as apparently I should've gotten some vouchers (maybe at checkin?) and the buffet for two came to $60. If I had to pay I'd be upset. I ended up at Dottie's cafe a couple blocks away the next morning and would much rather spend my money there than at the hotel. The checkin process was fairly pleasant but the front desk clerk tried to run my (prepaid) cc for incidentals and originally tried to put it through for the whole room amount/stay even though we paid ahead of time. That confused me and I had to try to ask a few times to be sure he was doing it right as it didn't make sense they would hold the amount for the cost of the room. He eventually got it right. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Superb in every way!Posted Feb 2, 2014
Pros: The staff, super comfortable room, the location and pretty much everything else!
Cons: Guest name recognition would enhance the already very high service standards.
Location: AT&T Park (go Giants!), great restaurants, art galleries and museums, Moscone Center literally on the doorstep, a Target store and movie theater.
I called a couple of days before arrival to ensure we would have a room with two beds and that was the only unsuccessful experience I had. Twice, I was put through to the front desk and the phone was never answered after about 20 rings. My third call was answered and the agent was friendly, professional and welcoming, as were all of the staff we encountered during our stay. The valet, doormen, front desk agents and concierge were all excellent. The only improvement I can even suggest is to use the guest's name more, but their manner was so sincere I was impressed by the service anyway. I love the location, nice area with great restaurants nearby and a Target around the corner for forgotten items! Only a few blocks away from AT&T Park which is always our destination when we come to the city! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are a really nice size, modern, comfortable, scrupulously clean with nice amenities. The beds are so comfortable and the thermostat was really responsive so it was easy to keep the room comfortable. I work at a luxury resort and my critical eye found nothing to complain about! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly for anyone.
