“A Good Choice”
We had two adjoining rooms at the hotel with a view of the water and Bay Bridge. World class shopping in the Embarcadero, and a short walk to the Ferry Building. It was a good choice for a busy weekend in August.
“would definitely return”
We had a wonderful time staying at Le Meridien and had gotten a great deal on a long weekend stay. We loved being close to Fisherman's wharf and walking through the city to the shopping district. After finding so much good food everywhere in the city, we were also really thankful for the hotel gym (which is more fully equipped than most) and complimentary water, fruit, towel service and earphones that they offered.
“Fabulous Hotel!!”
We had high expectations for this hotel and most of our expectations were met. It sits in the middle of the financial district, so we didn't really have things right at our fingertips, but it was still a nice location. We would definitely go back!
“Loation was perfect”
This hotel was within walking distance to the public transportation lines that could take you to any of the great spots in the city. If you don't mind a 10 to 15 minute walk, you can walk to Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf and many other great places. The room was so quite that it felt like I was the only one on the floor. Staff was very helpful in giving directions and advice on the city.
“Excellent San Francisco Hotel”
I stayed here at the end of a 7-day trip (liked San Francisco so much I cancelled the airport hotel for the final night and booked this place instead) and immediately wished I'd booked it for longer. I'd strongly recommend this hotel - not only is it more stylish and less crowded in the lobby than many of the other hotels, the service is good, and the rooms are nicely furnished with good views. Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms excellent. Best of all, from a practical point of view, the price is sometimes no more than for the many large Union Square hotels. If you have to choose between several hotels at a similar price point, then I'd definitely choose this one - simply no contest in my opinion. If I come back to San Francisco, this will be the first place I'll check on. Location is good - about 3 blocks from Market Street, BART, MUNI and Ferry Building.
“Excellent location....excellent hotel!!!”
Loved the hotel. Close to everything. Would definitely go back.
“excellent hotel”
beautiful. Friendly staff. Greagt location near shopping and entertainment
“Really Great Hotel”
We really, really loved this hotel, and the staff. We put in our comments section under our booking that it was our 10th wedding anniversary, and they upgraded us for free for 8 nights! The conceirges were completely amazing, and kind and helpful! We especially liked that it wasn't in the heavy tourist area down by fishermans wharf, it was close to trolley cars, embarcadero, piers, coit tower, china town etc...
“Lovely Hotel”
We stayed at the Le Meridian for a leisure trip. We stayed for two night- saturday and sunday nights, its located in the financial district and muni/bart are all within 10 minutes walking distance. Although keep in mind most restaurant shops are closed during the weekend. Rooms were clean and very well maintained.
“Very impressed”
Hotel is very clean and very nice. Service is exceptional and the beds are awesome.Would recommend to all
