Good, comfortable stay and low price. This is a good place for business travellers. The beds were clean and comfortable and bathrooms were also very clean. Some of the carpeting and decor looks dated but is still alright for the prices they offer. Location could be better its just off the highway.

Walking distance to Maker Faire

Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: 20minutes walking distance to Maker Faire. Good Japanese & Chinese restaurants right next door. Microwave & mini fridge in room. Staff was accomodating in providing room away from highway. Cons: Full hotel bc of Maker Faire. Thin walls. Upstairs neighbors made lots of noise at 2am. Woke up to neighbor knocking on their own door. BRING EAR PLUGS. Hotel does not have them available.

convenient hotel close to SFO, Silicon Valley

Posted May 17, 2015
Right off US 101 so it was easy to travel between San Jose and San Francisco downtown, easy access to airports ans Silicon Valley. Although there's no direct entry from the highway (you have to drive to the back of Denny's restaurant to get to the hotel) and it appears more like an inn rather than hotel with how the rooms are located in bldgs separate from where the front desk and dining area is. Little choices provided as to their breakfast menu. And I was missing a do not disturb door sign- they provided one after I told them about it. The room in general is very very nice and comfortable-love the bathroom- although you can hear some noises from another room.

Location: is very well located between supermarkets, gas stations and small places to eat (asian foods).
it is a small quiet hotel with enough parking space. the room was larger than expected and very clean, they have cable tv , wi-fiand continental breakfast .

Visiting daughter & family

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: The staff is fantastic. Some of the same staff have been there for 5 yrs or more.
Cons: The motel really needs updating but then the price will go up.
Location: We love the location. It is easy to get around an close to our daughter, shopping, coyote point, Half Moon Bay, Hillar Museum.
We like this motel as it is close to our daughter's home, close to airport, shopping. No frills and reasonably priced. We have stayed here at least 6 times over 7 years. It could use some updating.

Great value, but uneven experience

Posted May 9, 2015
Pros: - This hotel is great value, and well located close to Highway 101. - Rooms are well equipped (good sized TV, fridge, etc), there is ample parking and good (mostly cheap ethnic) food facilities around. - Breakfast is fine (fresh waffles, and decent selection), although one has to make sure to come in early enough (and some patrons are obviously stocking for the day... 12 bananas for a single person, anyone?) My experience at the reception was mixed, with the attendant not going out of his way to make me feel welcome or try to find me a room when I arrived a bit earlier than expected (some other people, possibly more senior, were much more helpful, and offered me an upgrade as no other room was ready then, without me asking for it). Cons: - There were a few cigarette holes in the sheets - The soundproofing between rooms can be very poor (My neighbour was part of a group of loud travellers which were jet lagged and started to make a lot of noise in the middle of the night...) Overall, I'd probably come back if the prices are noticeably better than the other alternatives (as they were during my stay). Some of my disappointments are due to the hotel and its staff, as well as to the other customers. This being said, this hotel is deemed good enough for some airline crews (I didn't recognize the company though).

OK Hotel ... nothing fancy

Posted Apr 27, 2015
OK for stopover for 1 night. Included breakfast was the worst I have ever encountered. Breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, one type of cereal, English muffins (jelly but no butter), bran muffins cut in half, you cook waffles, orange juice, milk and coffee. No fruit, yogurt etc. Luckily there is a Denny's across the parking lot.

Really good value and good location!

Posted Apr 25, 2015
There is no elevator, so a bit annoying for packing around luggage if you get a 2nd floor room. Overall, a very clean room with amenities like a microwave and mini fridge, friendly staff, and convenient location!
