“Convenient and clean.”
This hotel provided a good stay in the city for me and my family. The staff was friendly and courteous and the hotel was clean. Would definitely come back.
“Booking More Than One Room”
Booked two rooms for my family and when I arrived at the hotel I found out that they were deep cleaning their carpets on the 4th & 5th floors. I called ahead and asked that the rooms be adjoining but when I arrived they moved us twice and when they finally assigned the rooms they where not adjoining. I only got them to say sorry but I wasted about 2 hours moving from room to room! Like other comments, you can hear street traffic and people talking if your room faces the street and because of the carpet cleaning, I could hear the cleaning crew with their machines going on the street at about 9am, unless your an early riser. Also, there is no self parking so be prepared to give up your car to the Valet and don't forget to tip$$$$.
“Bettter than ok”
ok met our needs
“Nice Hotel in a Great Location”
The room was small but clean and mostly quiet. Hotel staff was helpful with directions and always friendly.
“Marriot”

“reasonable”
excellent service by bell captains.
“Old But Great Location”
This Marriott in Fisherman's Wharf is in a great location. It is within walking distance of the cable cars, multiple SF tourist attractions, and many restaurants. It is very small and old though, located on an odd triangular shaped lot. It has NO self parking. Valet only. Try to get the room rate that includes parking package otherwise it is expensive to park there. Also the walls are thin because it is such an old hotel. We stayed on the second floor and outside traffic, especially city buses, were easily heard in the room. The hotel has no gift shop. The buffet breakfast is located just off the lobby, not in a separate restaurant. There is no in room wifi. Lobby has free wifi but rooms only have internet connection through wires on the desk and is not free. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Except for the concierge who rarely seemed to be at her desk. Again the best part of this hotel is the location. But there are multiple other hotels within a couple of blocks of this one so next time I may try a different hotel. Especially one with self parking on the premises.
“Fun in San Fran”
The hotel employees were very helpful and nice. The hotel was in a good location, close to main attractions.
“Good Hotel in Wharf”
Hotel staff were very competent and friendly. The room and lobby were a little dated and tired, but ok. Food prices not a good value, so we only ate one breakfast there. Overall, good location and I'd likely stay there again.
“Perfect Location”
We attended a wedding and then spent 2 days in San Francisco. The location was great because we could take the cable car to Chinatown and since we did rent a car we were able to park at a garage near by the hotel, during the night.
