Over price, breakfast was terrible.

Posted Jan 2, 2015
We , family of four, my husband , my teenager kids and I, were there for 3 nights. We did not expect much. But , with the price we pay, including extra charges for the kids, we hope we deserved more. It was over priced!! The room condition is not nice, the shower was not running well. Breakfast was terrible. This was the worst stay we have ever had. We would not recommend to any one.

Good location, cheap, clean.

Posted Dec 18, 2014
This place is old, but clean. Good inexpensive (compared to everything else) place if all you need is a place to sleep while visiting town. Also good quiet safe central location - central if you plan on visiting both the bulk of SF and areas along the peninsula, it's great location south/central location on the edge of Daly City. Neighborhood is modest working class, mixed residential/business, but quiet at night and safe. There's a very nice small mexican produce/meat market one block away to get your fruit and snacks for the day. I stayed two nights, on the top/3rd floor, view toward downtown, nice view of neighborhood city lights and even bay bridge way in the distance on a clear night. The hotel was full the nights I stayed, monday and tuesday nights, every parking spot was occupied, yet the place was peaceful and quiet throughout the night. You can hear the BART in the distance on occasion, but that's SF. Note - no microwave, no fridge, no alarm clock, no hair dryer, no safe. Just the basics, clean comfy bed, cable tv, simple basic hotel furniture, clean bathroom with toiletries and towels. Continental breakfast is not really anything but toast and packaged pastries so don't count on that. For my needs, a comfortable clean place to sleep after a full day out and about, I am glad I tried this place, and would definitely come again.

Economical Hotel

Posted Dec 9, 2014
The overall hotel price was very affordable. Rooms were clean, a bit outdated, but it's a you get what you paid. Continental Breakfast included coffee or tea, oatmeal, Danishes and toast and it's butter or jelly. I loved that hotel had parkinf. Staff was very friendly. Would stay here again.

very convenient to public transportation, and also

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: a relative who lives close to the hotel
Cons: the windows on the rooms needs to be more secured , it gives the idea that could be easily open from outside.
Location: the location is great, and as I said before easy to public transportation and also to a great variety of restaurants.
i am planning to go back and stay there next time I go to san francisco

Convienence

Posted Nov 8, 2014
Pros: convienence and location for us.
Cons: Upgrade T.V. and cleaner shower.
Location: finding something to eat in walking distance.
shower and sleep, but as a luxury, the T.V. could have been upgraded, a slight interference sound when on.

Excellent value, close to transport

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: The price was noticeably lower than other hotels. The pleasant staff in the office sorted out all my queries
Cons: Everything was fine.
Location: Because the hotel is quite far from the centre of Downtown, one needs to take a bus to get to the attractions. Macdonalds is closeby.
First time and alone in San Fran, I felt safe and was able to use public transport with ease from outside the hotel. It took about 45 minutes to travel to Downtown on the Muni bus. Super shuttle used to the airport, very reliable. The staff were extremely helpful to me, particularly as I had no cell phone with me. The room was comfortable, quiet and opened onto fresh air, a pleasant change from corridors. A lift was available for my luggage, useful for an older person like me. Plenty of parking for cars. Breakfast was adequate, freedom to eat there or bring back to the room.
