“Good Price for What You Get”
I stayed at the Mithila for two night for a conference at the Maconne Conference Center. I read a lot of bad things about it before I went, but I chose to go anyways. I don't think I made a mistake. The price is really good, and I felt like I got my money's worth. It isn't a four star hotel, and it is by no means nice, but it was totally reasonable. I felt safe and clean while I was there. On a separate note, I was a single male only there for two nights and spent little time in the actual room. I probably wouldn't recommend this place for families, but for a quick one or two night stay, it is a great way to save money.
“San Fracisco's Convenience Hotel”
The people is nice, the location is very good, close from union square, and if your budget is restricted as was mine, this is a good choice.
“BIG dissapointment”
Well, I guess when you look for cheap, thats exactly what you get. Where to begin. I orignially picked this hotel mainly because of the location. I was running the Nike Women's Marathon and wanted to stay as close as possible to the start line. The gal at the counter was polite...BUT when I got to my room the bedspread had something on it resembling bodily fluids. The window was about three inches open and could not close it. No windows or ac, so the natural breeze was the only circulating air. POOR lighting (only a lamp in the room). If you had to shower or use the bathroom, you had to go to separate floors for each. So needless to say I gave myself a sponge bath at the sink in my room. The stairway was soo narrow, you have to pray you don't fall. No elevators, but more stairs in the stairwell. Not a family hotel. Other guessed were loud and kept hitting things on their way back to their rooms. Oh and the tv was as big as a toaster. Parking was a pain in my butt!! They are contracted with a parking garage about a block away, but if you are not their to pick up your vehicle by 1pm per the hotel vocher, they charge you a full rate more :( On the flipside-Pros: microwave, mini fridge, danishes/coffee at 0700 (which I missed bcuz race started at 0700) and you can drop your keys off at window to check out before they open. Happy hunting!!
“SHOCKED!!!”
I was late to check out due to the SF Nike Run and the hotel went through my things found my phone called my daughter whom is 10 years old and told her I was missing and they could not get a hold of me. SHOCKED, that they would call a child and tell her that her mother is missing!!! And shocked that they went through my things!!! Poor business decision. They told me I was an inconvenience for my late check out at 1 p.m., I would NEVER recomend this place to anyone based on the way I was treated!
“rota”

“very good”
its very good hotel
“Good location, cheap and clean”
I was travelling alone and I didn't have a lot of money. So, of course I would prefer a Hilton, but if like me you prefer use your money with other things in the city, this is a good hotel to stay. Since I was alone, my room was very good for me. Bed, bathroom, refrigerator, a table, a place to my suitcase... Very clean, every day they cleaned it. The shower was good, warm and enough water and clean towels. The mirror is not perfect for us ladies because it is not possible to see our feet. Kind of dark to put make up on too. But nothing impossible to do. Bring your own shampoo and soap, they give, but you know... It is very cheap. The smell outside the room it is not bad but it is not pleasant. I tried to call the hotel from the Airport because I wanted to confirme near which metro station the hotel was located and nobody answered the phone. Even there, many times there is nobody in the "reception". The elevator is old too, but at least you don't have to go up with your suitcases, like in some hostels. The breakfast is awful. Anyway, for the price, was very good, but they offer as I said only the essential!
“Don't stay here”
very stink room
“Great Hotel for the Price and Location”
The hotel is great for the price and location. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. The airport shuttle is NOT complimentary though.
“Terrible experience”
To start we arrived a little bit early, so we would have to wait to do the check in, when we saw the hotel it was completely different from the pictures, it was incredibly small. We had a lot of bags, and the hotel has a lot of stairs, or after the stairs of the entrance has an elevator (an old and terrible one), we put the bags inside and went upstairs to see if they could keep our bags, we could but nobody helped us, and they were extremely rude, they didn't help at all. And we had to wait to check in on the street because they don't even have a lobby. To make it even worse, when we could finally check in we went to our room and it was dirty, they hadn't clean it yet. we had to wait 30 minutes or more to somebody clean the room. The room was very tiny, we started looking it, the first closet when we opened it a television almost fall on our feet, we had to close it and never open again. The room smelled like cigarretes, and the bathroom was so tiny too. The shower was very weak, and the water didn't go down. We wanted to change the hotel, but we would stay just 2 days, and we had already paid, so we had to stay. To do the check out they just put a sign saying to throw the key there, there was nobody to speak with, and nobody again to help us with the bags. It was a terrible experience, the only good thing was the free internet and the location, but there are a lot of hotels on the neighborhood, choose one of the others.
