Everything was of high quality: fruit and tea in the afternoon, impeccable room service, great bar and Bob's Restaurant had fabulous steaks. A highlight of our 3-week vacation in California.
“may not get the room type you want”
We spent a weekend in San Francisco and stayed at the Omni. The hotel was excellent in all respects, and I would recommend it to anyone. Beware, however, that if you book the hotel through Expedia, the hotel will not guarantee the type of room you want but will give what is available. We wanted a king size, non-smoking room, and the only room they had available for us in non-smoking had two double beds.

I travel all the time and this hotel is the best I have ever stayed in. I had truly exemplar service from everyone. I was upgraded when I arrived to a gorgeous room on the 16th floor so I had peace and quiet. The food from Bob's Chop House via room service was divine and had healthy options. One evening when I went out, rather than hail me a cab, the friendly doorman bundled me into the house town car and a wonderful young man drove me to my event 8 blocks away. I usually can't wait to get home from a biz trip, but I can truly say I was sorry to leave the Omni San Francisco.
Excellent service, decent location, and great staff. Will return!

“Fantastic hotel in perfect location”
This hotel is one of the best in the Omni chain -- evidenced by the crystal pineapple awards its won for hospitality. Upon check-in we received decks of San Francisco trivia cards. When I asked to buy a second one, they said no -- but they would be happy to GIVE me another one. Perfect location in the financial district near many good restaurants. Everyone was friendly and provided top-notch service. Go, go, go!
This is a beautiful Hotel. Everythin was clean and comfortable. We were just shocked by the prices in the restaurant. Two cups of coffee, a croissant and an order of toast was $30.00.
“Exactly what I needed!”
Very classy hotel. Everyone there was on top of their game. Very service oriented. The door men were all smiles greeting me and opening the doors everytime I approached whether I was coming or going. The concierge sent a bottle of wine & chocolate truffles to my room, with a handwritten card wishing me & my husband a romantic weekend. He helped with reservations, made suggestions for an itinerary, and offered us their house car service available M-F. The bedding was exquisite! The first night I arrived, I thought I would check in, freshen up, then go out to get something to eat. But the bed was so cozy & inviting!! Quality linens, lots of pillows...so once I laid down there was no getting up again!!! GREAT water pressure in the shower!! This is so important to me. It is so disappointing when you stay at a quality hotel and the shower head looks like it's been there for 20 years, or it's just terrible water pressure and water's shooting in every direction! So, the shower was perfect! The bathroom was beautiful. The restaurant in the lobby (Bob's Steaks & Chops) was pricey, but fantastic. Great service, and one of the best steaks I've had. We had very low expectations because of the name, but it was just too cold out to leave the hotel. So we figured we'd get something to eat in the hotel. It was high end and worth every penny! I would absolutely stay at Omni San Francisco again. So should you!
“Top notch service and excellent hotel”
Excellent service, no wonder it's up there in the rankings on tripadvisor. Superb location, walking distance to most places and if this is your first time to San Francisco, the concierge service is superb. Would come back again.
