Super loud vent and paper thin wallsPosted Apr 14, 2014
The vent was making super loud noises all night and the people in the room next to use where so loud. The walls are paper thin u can hear everything . Also the floors in the bathroom had hair on them. We paid a lot for this room I wish the hotel offered something for our inconvenience .

Close to downtown and public transportationPosted Apr 1, 2014
Location: Downtown. The hotel has a concierge devoted to helping with places to go, things to do and places to eat.
Pleasant. Had time to enjoy myself in and out of room. Checkout time is flexible alps which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

San Francisco is a great city to walk. This beautiful charming historic hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the city close to shopping and major attractions.

Grand Belle Epoch Hotel, tastefully restoredPosted Mar 30, 2014
Grand lobby and Palm Court. Very comfortable rooms. Great Montgomery and Market St location...easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. Wished the check in desk was better staffed, though the desk staff are very professional and pleasant. Great last minute rate on Expedia.

Nice indoor pool and sauna. The hotel staff greeted us with chocolates at check in. The lobby is beautiful.

Noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in!Posted Mar 24, 2014
Room was clean and staff was ok but it was the worst night sleep I have ever had. Got in at midnight for a work trip and was placed on 2nd floor Market St. I was awaken at 5am by a jack hammer pounding through the room for a few hours. After that stopped, housekeeping banged their vacuums up against the walls and slammed the garbage cans in the hall at 8am. Worst night sleep ever in a hotel.

Brilliant for business or pleasurePosted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: The hotels looks great and the beds are really comfy. It's got a huge dining room, filled with light, that's much better than working in your room.
Location: Check out Roy's @ 575 Missions St. and Tropisueno @75 Yesrba Buena Ln.
I've stayed at this hotel for both business and pleasure. It's a great location on Market, but close enough to walk (or run) down to the Embarcado, China town and Union Sq. Valet parking was convenient and quite, but there's plenty close self park options with in/out privs. if you prefer.
