Great staff, rooms need updating. Hotel is close to shops and cable cars, but a bit noisy.

Clise to everything

Centrally located and just a block from the BART makes this a great hotel for you stay in San Fransico. Many restaurants and bars located near by. About six blocks from China town and two blocks to catch a cable car to fishermans warf.

Great hotel, good location

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Beautiful hotel and the staff was the best.
Location: Bart station is super close, everything is less than a $10 cab ride away.
Loved this hotel, it looks great, the staff was the best, they went above and beyond to take care of us. Only hiccup was when I had something delivered to the hotel it was misplaced upon delivery, but after about 15 minutes we had it sorted out so no big problem. We did not use many of the amenities though so I can't comment on those. For anyone concerned about the location, yes there are lots of homeless people and riff-raff but I wouldn't consider the area of this hotel to be a bad area. That stuff is all over San Francisco, and San Fran has some of the worst when compared to N.Y. and L.A. One could easily say there's a homeless problem near every hotel in San Francisco. However I thought the area directly around Parc 55 was pretty clean.

Good location, however service was pretty poor.

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Services and technology. Annoying thing is to have a kiosk in the lobby where you have to pay to charge your phone.
The location was excellent, however service was quite poor. The restaurant has a very limited menu, we could not even get dessert and coffee at 9.30pm, though the manager tried to be very helpful. We hd to get our keys re-done every day and that too it would not work at the gym. Room cleaning was not great either.

Great location in Union Square!

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness and bed comfort
Cons: Wait time at the front desk
Location: Shop at high end store, great restaurants and bars, free entertainment at Union Square
Parc55 is in one of the greatest locations for enjoying San Francisco. Union Square has great restaurants, bars, shopping, and people watching. The beds were so comfortable I tried to find out what kind they were so I could get a similar mattress for my home! All areas of Parc55 were very clean. My only problem was with the long lines for reservations/check in and the concierge. I had to wait at least 20 minutes for the concierge and then they gave me the wrong information about how to get to Fisherman's Wharf using public transportation. I understand that they want to do a thorough job with each customer, but they seemed understaffed. I also found it interesting that they didn't have complimentary coffee in the lobby. That would have made the wait time a little easier. All in all, I would stay there again.

Convenient location, great amenities.

I always stay in this hotel when I visit SF. The rooms are comfortable and the location is ideal. It is a half block to the BART station and visitors info center, around the corner from the cable cars and across the street from the shopping center. Union Square is nearby. My Expedia Gold status resulted in complimentary continental breakfast and free WiFi.

Hotel is not worth the money

Posted Jul 27, 2015
We arrived at the hotel around 11 PM. Once we arrived, we were told there were not many rooms available to choose from. We requested a room with a king size bed, away from the elevator and on a high floor. None of these accommodations were met. When we arrived to the room, we called the front desk to report that we did not have a king size bed and were told, sorry that was all they had for the night. Upon arriving in the room, the toilet did not work and the air conditioner was malfunctioning. We reported these issues on the next day and was relocated to a new room. The interesting thing is the new room was much nicer. It had nicer towels and the water was complimentary where as the old room the water was $7 a bottle. Overall, the hotel seemed very inconsistent and poor quality for such a high price. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for the cost. If this was 1/3 of the price I paid, it would have met expectations.
