Nice hotel VERY close to Union Square

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Location, staff & comfort of the rooms.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Only a block from Union Square - tons of shopping, people watching & yummy restaurants.
Had a fantastic experience at Parc 55. The hotel staff was extremely friendly, hotel location was ideal & the rooms were clean & comfortable.

Pros: Location!
Cons: Air conditioning doesn't work great on higher floor room and on the east side with the afternoon sun. We were moved to a lower room and much cooler!
Location: Union Square and hop on cable cars to wherever you want to go!
Stayed with friends for the Nike Women's Half Marathon. Room was comfortable and clean... Bathroom wasn't the worse I've seen but not the best either. Concierge, bell hops, and maintenance people were wonderful but front desk weren't the friendliest. Great location for the weekend!

Good location

Nice rooms but don't expect luxury. Walls can be a bit thin. If you get noisy neighbors then you will know what they are doing!

Upgraded to non existing club level

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Booked this hotel to get the gold member upgraded! When I checked in they told me that they upgraded me to a club level room! In the room they had information to the club level room! Free drinks on the 30th floor in the club lounge every night with horderves, continental breakfast in the morning. After spending 10 minutes on the 30th floor I could not find the lounge! I then went to the front desk and asked! It turns out that they closed the club lounge 2 years ago! I then asked them if I could get breakfast coupons and they told me no! I was renting 3 rooms at $600 a night for 7 nights! I travel to San Francisco a lot! I will never give them business again!

Beautiful view from the room. They permanently got rid of their room service, which is a big thing for me.

Nice hotel close to union square

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: the rooms and proximity to union square were great.
Cons: Parking. you must either provide parking or allow valet to go in and out. people that stay at hotels don't know public transportation.
Location: There are a lot of shops nearby and really cool restaurants.
we decided to have a random road trip from San Diego to Sacramento and it was all last minute. while in Sacramento we decided to stop by San Francisco on the way back, we didn't have anywhere to stay so we checked Expedia and soon enough found a great looking hotel with great location and best of great rates. we were right by Union Square, everything was extremely close and overall it was an amazing stay. the only thing I really didn't like is that there is no parking anywhere!!!! The hotel offers Valet Parking for $55 and won't let you take your car out again and if you do you must pay again. This was horrible since we wanted to see the city and taking public transportation with two small children to the golden gate bridge is not a great idea. we ended up finding public parking a street from the hotel and just parked overnight there. I have to say the are is great during the night but during the night it turns into a scene from the walking dead. there are homeless people roaming the streets and trying to get into cars parked outside. I rarely saw any police at night and was afraid of going to my car at night. there was a public parking structure a couple blocks nearby but it charged around $40 flat rate and also you couldn't go in and out, it was also located by the sketchy neighborhood. overall the hotel was great but parking was horrible and i ended up getting a $65 parking ticket for street sweeping from 5AM-6AM.
