Nice hotel and great locationPosted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: The location, room renovations, helpful consequirs.
Cons: Street noise, better communication to guest regarding water outages, free breakfast or make it less expensive
Location: Great location, near Ghirardelli Square, Pier 39, great restaurants, near several transportation modes, not a bad walk to Chinatown or Pier 33
Hotel is close to Ghirardelli Square, Pier 39, great restaurants, local and touristy shopping. The hotel consequirs were so helpful and friendly. On 3rd day had no water from 10-4pm due to hotel renovations and had no notice since we booked through Expedia, but hotel credit me $100 towards my bill which made me happy. Lots of street noise, but I was able to sleep through it. Had to have my room key reprogrammed 3 times to get it to work, seemed as though other guest had the same problem. I will definitely stay at this hotel again because of the location, room renovations and friendly staff. The renovations should be completed by my next trip.

We absolutely loved the room and its location.Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: The cleanliness of the room/no pets. I do not like to see pets where I am going to sleep or eat.
Location: Ghirardelli Square is nearby, Lombard Street is not far, the Fisherman's Wharf is a couple of blocks away. The tour companies are nearby as well.
We appreciated the friendliness of the hotel staff and all of the help from the concierge. I would definitely recommend this hotel to visitors in San Francisco. It was in a great location, and the rooms were really clean.

Great location & friendly staff.Posted Jun 26, 2015
Great location & friendly staff. Room was small but the design was absolutely charming!!! The hotel is under construction, upgrading rooms and that was a bit noisy but didn't disrupt our sleep. When we arrived the water was shut off but it was back on within minutes. The hotel lacks a spa. Would have loved that option. Otherwise it was perfect!

Liked the location which is near Fisherman's WharfPosted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: I liked the location and the room was nice.
Cons: The parking fee of $45.00 a day is steep. Also had an issue getting out of the garage trying to pay.
Location: Fisherman's Wharf, good restaurants & the ferry to Alcatraz were all within walking distance.
We checked in and then went to get on the elevator to go to our room. No one at the front desk told us you needed to use your room key to operate the elevator. It took us probably 20 mins. to have someone show us what to do.

Good Value: Convenient, Affordable and a Safe BetPosted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: The location. Price. Basic amenities. The gym was fantastic.
Cons: Needs a pool. The staff are all eager to help, but clearly could be 1st class with a bit of professional training in customer service.
Location: Great restaurants. So close and convenient to Fisherman's Wharf. Easy for shopping. Close to groceries.
We enjoyed staying at Pier 2620. The location is a huge win down at Fisherman's Wharf. You are literally steps away from restaurants, shopping, Starbucks, Walgreens and the famous San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf. Hotels are expensive in San Francisco and we found Pier 2620 to be a great value. The room was decent. Nothing spectacular. It could have been a bit cleaner in terms of the carpet and the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets very clean with new fresh linens. The bathroom had seen better days and all surfaces could have use a better wipe down. You wanted to keep your shoes on when it came to the carpet. I can't be too hard as they are in the process of renovating the hotel and our room was one of the older ones. Overall we found it quite comfortable. It had a very nice large flat screen tv and a fridge to store drinks and snacks we bought outside of the hotel. If you want to buy snacks to keep in the room there is Safeway, Trader Joes and Walgreens all a block or two away. The Main Lobby is beautiful. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. The concierge, Debbie, helped us book some tours and she was a delight. Very helpful with lots of personality. The Hotel could use a pool. The fitness room was excellent. High end equipment and amazing set up. I enjoyed using it. Overall I would for sure recommend this hotel to people staying in San Francisco.

Great hotel close to the wharf area.Posted Jun 19, 2015
We were able to walk to the many things happening around Fisherman's Whart and the North Beach area of San Francisco. I had a wonderful morning walk from the hotel around and up Lombard's crooked street, up Coit Tower hill, down Filberts stairs and back to the hotel along the piers. Awesome.

Swanky remodeled (6/2015) hotel near SF waterfrontPosted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: New decor is swanky without being uncomfortable or non-functional for a business traveler. Great fitness center with lots of equipment.
Cons: Not much.
Location: Waterfront is minutes away.
Great hotel, easy access to waterfront fun and great restaurants. It was in the middle of a remodel when I went but the staff was helpful and the place was pleasant, fun, and artistic.
