Great stay on the Wharf!Posted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Heated pool. Outside firepit and lounge area. Comfortable beds and bedding and nice towels. Updated bathroom. Balcony with nice view. Friendly.
Cons: The room had some noise from other rooms. Not too bad though. A free continental breakfast would be nice.
Location: Great location. Taxis always around. Steps from Pier 39, Boudin Bakery (LOVE that place), fast food and tons of other restaurants.
This hotel really exceeded my expectations after reading some of the other reviews. We had a great room. Updated nicely. Great bed linens Great bed. Great water pressure and quick hot water. Great towels and lots of them. Nice vanity with room for toiletries. I mean the room wasnt huge but it was efficient. plenty of room to store several suitcases and several huge drawers for clothing. Great balcony with view of the water over the parking garage. Some reviews complained of street noise. I paid a bit extra for a courtyard view and glad i did - noise wasnt bad at all - just sometimes we could hear some other residents but thats to be expected. i would say this is more of a 3 1/2 star hotel or even 4 but we paid way less than the 4 star hotels nearby. The pool was really warm! We swam when it was in the 50s outside. Tough getting out in the cold but still fun to be able to go in in the winter. The water was clean and the pool was decent size. The outside fire pit was awesome. Great place to enjoy your wine from Napa. You can enter DIRECTLY on the wharf from the back entrance of the hotel We didnt even know this was there until 3 days in. VERY convenient. NO breakfast but there was a coffee bar you could pay for in the hotel. good vending selection with reasonable prices for drinks and candy. wifi was free and fast. Staff were very friendly.

Great LocationPosted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: Great location, nice warm pool. Friendly and helpful employees.
Cons: Rooms were a bit cramped, would be nice to have a refrigerator and/or microwave in the rooms. Exhaust fan in bathroom was loud.
Location: In San Francisco across the street from Fisherman's Wharf. Go to Boudin, Musée Mécanique, Pier 39, and so much more.
Great location by Fisherman's Wharf. Extremely friendly and helpful front desk agent.

Good location but terrible bedsPosted Nov 26, 2013
Cons: Change the beds. The beds were in terrible condition.
The hotel was clean and staff friendly. We all got congested while in the room. When we left the congestion would clear up and come back when we returned to the room.

Right on Fishermans Wharf, great location!Posted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: Location, cleanliness, staff friendliness
Location: Fishermans Wharf, Ghiradelli Square, Johnny Rockets, Ben and Jerry's, views of Alcatraz from just across the road
Stayed here for 3 nights to kick off our California tour. Staff were very friendly, particularly when our son vomited right outside the front door (travel sickness) and was embarrassed, they cleaned it up with no fuss and assured him it was no problem. Beds were very comfortable, room clean and modern. There is a walkway from the hotel that leads directly out to Fishermans Wharf. Close to restaurants, 7/11, Ghiradelli Square. The pool was heated and great to relax in after a day wandering the wharf. Would definitely return to this hotel if ever in San Francisco again.

Best Location on Fishermans WharfPosted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: Best location on the wharf. There is a Safeway 1 block from here. The Muni Stop is right outside the door and the back entrance to the Wharf is great!
Cons: The rooms need more lighting. Way to dark in the evening in the rooms and have to leave the bathroom light on with the door open just to get light.
Location: Within walking distance to North Beach, Pier 39, Alcatraz Landing and Muni Stops. Many restaurants all around. Best Location on the wharf.
We travel to San Francisco every year and every year we stay at Radisson Fishermans Wharf. It is the best location on Fishermans wharf. We arrived at our hotel early and there was no problem checking into our room before the standard check in time. The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean. The pool is heated and the outdoor seating area around the fire is great for a glass of wine in the evening to unwind from a busy day. The rooms are clean. The problem we found is the hotel has renovated recently and the rooms are very dark in the evening. The only lights in the room are the 2 bedside lights and 1 very small light on the desk that doesn't do anything. We found we had to keep the light on in the bathroom with the door open just to see stuff in our room and keep the blinds open to get some street light in. When we left our room for the day, we had to make sure we left a light on as the first night we didn't and when we came back at night, we couldn't see a thing in our room, it was pitch black. No hall light in the room either, so you have to blindly walk to the bedside table to turn on a light. That is the only downfall of this hotel and rooms.

Great locationPosted Nov 18, 2013
Cons: The beds and in room movie service.
Location: As stated before, the location is excellent, walking distance to pier 39.
The hotel is in a great location. We loved the easy access to fishermans wharf. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean. The downside is its a very old and outdated hotel. The sleep number bed they boast about so much was horrible. My wife and I both could not get comfortable in that bed. The pressure would change, both sides could be set the same but one side was higher then the other like it had hills and valleys. Basicaly those beds are a glorified air mattress. The in room movies we had issue with too. The first movie shut off half way through, the second movie the voices didnt match the timing of the mouth movements on the tv.

Facilities and staff are greatPosted Nov 17, 2013
Cons: Our only complaint is regarding the parking fee; can't there be some way to cut that fee down? Already paying hundreds of dollars a night for the roo
