Hotel was undergoing a major renovation.

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: The staff was very acommodating. The housekeepers did a great job too.
Cons: The hotel experience will be better after they finish renovating.
Location: Easy walking distance to all areas of Fisherman's Wharf.
Most of the hotel was undergoing renovation and was difficult for staff and guests. We chose to stay in one of the new rooms, just renovated. It looked ultra modern and room did not have all the bugs worked out yet. The style of decor seemed artistic but cold. Not my taste. There was only one nightstand for our king size bed. Pretty inconvenient when you want to set a drink down and you're on the other side. Bathroom sink faucet was so short for the fancy sink that it was hard to wash hands and not splatter water all over.

Had Hoped for Better

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The location on Fisherman's Wharf. Great access to pier 39.
Cons: Bubblier staff and functionality of the room.
Location: walk to cable cars, hop on hop off tour pier 39 and Alcatraz boats
The hotel was undergoing extensive renovations while we were there meaning that the hotel was all very disjointed although it was great to see them updating things. We were given the updated rooms which we were pretty excited about but on entry found that they weren't all that exciting. There was nowhere to put the suitcase (not even sufficient floor space) and the choice of décor was very... interesting. The whole room is lacking in functionality. We found one or two of the staff very helpful during our stay while others came across as a bit rude. They still helped us with what we required it just made them difficult to approach. Overall the stay was fine. We had a bed and a clean room.

My wife and I spent one night at the Radisson before boarding the Star Princess on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. We were disappointed that they were in the process of remodeling and had a lot of the hotel torn up. On a positive note though, the staff was completely hospitable and provided us with great service! Once the remodeling is completed, the hotel will be very nice for anyone traveling into San Fransisco for any kind of an extended stay. The location for activities and places to see in San Fransisco is superb. We thought the cost for one night's stay due to the remodeling was high, but for sure the staff made up for the disappointment!

Under Construction

Posted Feb 7, 2015
Pros: Room was clean, location to the wharf.
Location: Lots to do in the city. You can walk to everything on the wharf and to North Beach.
The drawback is that the hotel is under construction. Elevators inconvenient and no sevices available in hotel. No gym, bar, coffee, food, pool. When the construction is done it will probably be better, but I would not recommend anyone to stay there during construction.

Not worth the price

Posted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: Softer beds and thicker windows
Location: Location was convenient to the wharf and pier 39
The bed was really hard and the street noise was annoying. I didn't sleep well at all and woke up sore. They are in the middle of renovating so the paint smell was overwhelming in the lobby and there was banging and drilling.
