Could see Alcatraz from our balcony. Hop on hop off bus very good and Alcstraz well worth a trip. The Concierge was brilliant.

Excellent stayPosted Mar 5, 2014
It is an excellent location. I found the rooms to be very nice. The only downside I found through the whole trip was that the maid seemed to not really clean the room. We never got a new bag for the ice the entire 3 nights we stayed, we didn't get new cups nor did they bother to take the cups that had already been used, and little things like that. Other then that the bathroom and bed were very nice. I would stay there again!

Great locationPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: Staff was very friendly and reponsive Most rooms have balconeys most with views of the bay.
Cons: Personal preferences: - Dont care for the sleep number beds (too swooshy and control is difficult) - It would be very nice to have a small Frig.
Location: Best Fishermans Wharf location. Out the back, cross the street and you are right on pier 43
Good experience with friendly staff and close to everything we wanted to do.

Great location, expensive parkingPosted Feb 25, 2014
Cons: Parking rate.
Hotel has a great location close to the dock and piers. Parking is ridiculously expensive and not included in room rate but it's my understanding that all the hotels in that area are like that. Room was a lot smaller than expected, Room pictures are deceiving!

Good location, decent roomPosted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: Good customer service, great location, staff knowledgable about the area, comfortable rooms.
Cons: Rooms definitely need more sound proofing. A hot tub / whirlpool to go with the pool would be a welcome addition.
My girlfriend and I spent 5 days at the Radisson Fisherman's Wharf. The hotel is in good shape considering that it is an older building. The Sleep Number bed was not our favourite, but decently comfortable. Everything in the room appeared completely satisfying until the first night. Fisherman's Wharf is a fairly noisy neighbourhood with lots of tourist shops, restaurants and bars and we could hear all of the action in the room. Perhaps it would be better to make sure you get a room that is facing inwards to the pool rather than out to the street. Other than the noise, however, we had a good overall experience with the hotel.

Hotel with a very convenient locationPosted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: The location of this hotel was the best part. It was close to the aquarium, restaurants and shopping.
Cons: The walls to the rooms are a little thin so you can hear your neighbors blow drying or starting the shower.
Location: Again, this hotel was very close to all the fun things to do at the pier. Close to the aquarium, boat tours, bus tours, and restaurants.
The hotel was very close to all the fun things to do at the pier. The room was clean and staff was friendly.

Good hotel - great locationPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, courtyard area.
Cons: Overall ambiance, maid service time.
Location: Fisherman's wharf, great restaurants, Marina district, North Beach is only a short cab ride away as well.
The hotel itself is average, depending on your standards. No over-the-top amenities, and a few things were out of order during our stay (the card reader to get into the hotel-guest-only parking was broken). The room was clean, but on the small side. It was nice, but not luxurious. Definitely a GREAT location in the city. RIGHT by Fisherman's Wharf and the Marina district. The courtyard with the firepit was lovely and not crowded at all when we were there (on a Saturday night). The maid service came around knocking on doors at 9am (which I did not appreciate as that is well before checkout time), and they were pretty loud in the hallway even after we'd said we were still sleeping. But the hotel staff that checked us in and called us a cab were very nice and accomodating. We got a great deal on this room through Expedia (and on a holiday weekend, to boot) so it was well worth the money for us.
