No longer the Radison

Cons: Swimming pool
Location: Fisherman's wharf, seafood, street performers,
There is no heated swimming pool. The new company Zephyr filled it in. The new look is more hip and modern, appealing to a much younger crowd. Not my style. I really wanted the mood and atmosphere of a Radison but we were not told of the change until we arrived. We I shared my disappointment to the manager on duty he was quite rude. Location is GREAT.

Pros: Comfy beds.
Cons: Everything. Room was dirty, falling apart and missing things. Staff was rude and lied.
Location: It's on the Warf but, the Warf entrance is closed and had a "For Sale" sign.
Biggest issues: The Staff * When we called to ask check in time (Website was hard to navigate on mobile) a woman said 2pm, when we got there we where told 4 pm. * When we arrived we discovered you had to pay to park. The man said every hotel does it. That was a lie, the hotel RIGHT NEXT DOOR advertised free parking and on previous trips I stayed in hotels with free parking. Seriously why lie? * My wife's cellphone got left at the hotel.First call I was hung up on, Second call a lady answered and transferred call to house keeping with no answer so I left a message, three hours later Third call they said they'd found it (Why they didn't call back I have NO idea). They said they'd ship it, I requested flat rate so it was cheaper. They said they'd call with a tracking number. Called back 6/13 they said they mailed it 6/6 but the tracking number was with the manager they'd call in 2 hours. I called back 3 hours later and when I got the tracking number... it had been shipped an hour ago. Woman was insistent she sent it 6/6. It wasn't sent flat rate so it was $20 instead of $6. Again with the lovely lying staff. Wife didn't receive her phone until 6/19. The room * Lacking a do not disturb sign * Room was dirty and falling apart. The drain in the bath fell apart and the sink was filthy as where the walls. Hotel itself * No pool or patio as advertised. *Construction stuff EVERYWHERE. * Have to walk through construction to reach lobby.

Pros: Location, staff and it was nice and clean and new.
Location: It is about the closest hotel to the wharf and pier 39. Easy walking.
The hotel was just renovated and very nice. The location is great, right on the wharf and the shortest walk to Pier 39. The staff was wonderful. I would recommend an inside room because outside room does have some traffic noise but this did let up later in the evening.

Hotel direkt am Fisherman's Wharf

Pros: Sehr bemühtes Hotelteam.
Cons: Information wäre nett gewesen, dass die Gartenanlage, Pool, Fitnesscenter oder der Durchgang zum Wharf aufgrund von Umbauarbeiten gesperrt waren.
Wir waren bereits das 3. Mal in diesem Hotel. Neu renovierte, geräumige Zimmer im sportlichen Marinelook. Normalerweise direkter Zugang zum Wharf und somit zu allen Attraktionen, die geboten werden. Pier 39, Shops, Cable car Station, Ausflugsboote, Straßenbahnlinie, Busse - alles gleich bei der Hand. Einziger Nachteil: alle Lokalitäten schließen spätestens um 23.00. Für späte Aktivitäten muss man daher ins Zentrum ausweichen. Alles in allem aber ein Hotel zum Weiterempfehlen.

Was a disappointment that we were caught in construction and change of ownership. For the cost of this hotel, we expected a better experience or at at minimum a thank you from the staff for the troubles. Elevators were down, the pool was gone, the door to the warf was gone...all things that would have been nice to know before we booked this room. With that said, the new look is a nice change. My kids enjoyed the new games in the courtyard. Room remodel was clean and well done. The soap is amazing :)

Cons: Drawers under counter are hard to open, as is the fridge.
Location: Best location in San Fran, EVERYTHING was close by!

Remodeling Can Produce Great Results

Pros: Convenience and the room.
Cons: Finish the remodeling.
Location: Had breakfast, lunch and dinner in restaurants close by which were very good.
While we were there the hotel was being remodeled even though our room was really nice and already complete in the remodeling. The lobby was super crowded but again due to the remodeling. The location is very convenient to the wharf area and an easy walk. The staff were great!
