You get what you pay for

If you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay outside of the city then go for it. Be advised the exterior of the hotel is under construction so you might have a slightly annoying time with no hotel sign. Overall the hotel was ok. I just wasn't feeling shady San Bruno.

hotel for short stay at SFO

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: locatin
Cons: complicated design, not easy to find the rooms; very simple equipment
It's an average place for a short stay if you have to be close to the airport

Close to the airport, adequate for one night

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: Clean bathroom and good shower. Very close to the airport with a convenient shuttle.
Cons: No smoking to include the elevator and the courtyard below. The breakfast room should be larger.
Location: At night the area is sketchy but during the day there is a nice street nearby with many inviting ethnic restaurants. including a great breakfast place
We had reserved a non-smoking room and, although the room and bath was clean, the air was thick with cigarette smoke apparently coming from the hallway and downstairs courtyard. The elevator was dreary and very smokey. It appeared that there was work being done on the exterior to upgrade the hotel. The "breakfast room" was so tiny and was overwhelmed by one occupant loudly using a cell phone on speaker.

It's a basic hotel, so close to the airport, they have free shuttle to the airport. Stayed there for 1 night before my flight the next day, I've got 1 king bed and room is nice and clean, it'll be big enough for 2 people. Could improve the breakfast, otherwise it was an ok stay.

Reasonable Place

Posted Oct 25, 2014
Pros: Close to airport and car rental
Location: Wendy's across the street and a Mexican restaurant, not much else within walking distance
Some construction going on but it did not interfere with our stay. Front clerks, nice and helpful.

Pros: Great big room.
Cons: The lobby area.
Location: Close to the airport, many eating options behind the hotel, not on El Camino Real.
I was a little wary upon driving up to this hotel, it was under construction and from El Camino Real the neighbor did not look the best. Once getting into the cramped parking I was very pleased by the friendliness of the front desk person. I returned my car that night and planned to take the free shuttle the following morning to the airport. Once back to the hotel the front desk suggested nearby restaurants, behind the hotel not on El Camino Real - which were many and easy walking.

Too expensive for the quality.

I wasn't warned by Expedia that the hotel is under major renovation. The one night stay was worth less than half of what I paid. I want a partial refund of my payment of one night stay. TOO EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!
