“Courteous staff, good restaurant on premises”

Good accommodations for the price! Room satisfactory, but no refrigerator & microwave as advertised. Wi-fi hookup convenient and accessible. Only annoying problem reported to supervising housekeeper was smoke-filled elevator with posted "no smoking" sign. Made us think staff member sneaking a smoke in the elevator.

“Basic clean quality for the price”

Very clean room space, shuttle to the SFO, free coffee/tea in the lobby. The first look of the lobby - it is shockingly basic. Location close to DoubleTree, so one can always use the Burlingame trolley that stops at DoubleTree but not Red Roof.

“Good Value compared to the others in the area”

The room was clean, cheery, and functional. Everything looked pretty new and tastefully designed and worked as expected. Missed coffee in the room but it was short walk to the lobby to get one. Bring a travel mug to make your trip worthwhile they had little dinky Styrofoam ones. The sheer inner curtain that allows privacy in daytime was missing. No free continental breakfast and the attached restaurant did not have many inexpensive options. But you don't get free breakfasts at the more expensive neighbor hotels either. It was close to SFO and I think they had a shuttle. I drove and the parking was free.The free wireless worked fine. Overall it was an affordable option near other conference hotels.

“Comfortable place to stay”

This was just your basic hotel-nothing too fancy, but nothing to complain about. The room was clean, service was friendly, and the restaurat was conveniently located within the hotel. Parking was occasionally difficult to find, the elevator was temporarily out of order and there was no fridge in the room.

“Great for what it is”

It's all about convienence to the airport. This hotel is in an area of hotels and for the money it works great. Not the least is the 24 hour restaurant off the lobby. Not the greatest food but all the other hotels do not cater to people who arrive late and need to eat. Where the other hotels have vending machines these folks serve meals. Makes you wonder why you would pay more when you just need to be close to the airport.

“Ok airport hotel”

If you just need a place to stay close the SFO, Red Roof is the place. Nice rooms, nice beds etc. but nothing extraordinary. However, the restaurant next door is not worth it!

“Friendly, clean, a good value”

This is convenient to the airport, with really friendly service. It's worth the extra small charge for a superior room, with nicer linens and better space. 24 hour restaurant, owned independently, and serving real food.
