Not for peaceful sleeping. 1960 Aged conditionPosted May 19, 2015
Pros: View of Coit Tower. Staff pleasing, but English is second language.
Cons: Total Renovation.
Location: Close to Chinatown, North Beach. 2 short blocks to Bus route to Fisherman's wharf. Location is heavily traveled artery of the City.
Not updated. Cracked sink. Lights burned out. Tiny shower. Very old furnishings. 19 in. TV with 10 local channels all grainy. THERE WAS NO HEAT THE FIRST NIGHT OF STAY. Engineer fixed small wall unit (decades old) the next morning. NONSTOP NOISE (24 hrs.) from Broadway, major artery for commuters & delivery drivers.

Clean and safe hotel in ChinatownPosted May 19, 2015
Pros: location. free wifi. clean and safe.
Cons: Provide kettle.
Location: Chinatown. Fisherman Wharf. Lombard Street. Coit Tower, Ghirardelli Square
Strategically located in the Chinatown. Walking distance to Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants, souvenir stores, bus stop, supermarkets, etc. Feeling safe. Clean room. Free wifi speed acceptable. The only inconvenience is that no kettle provided. Very troublesome to make food/milk for baby.. Otherwise, generally quite a comfy stay.

Way overpricedPosted May 17, 2015
Good location in center of SF. Free parking very convenient. However rooms as well as other hotel facilities are outdated. Wifi only worked 1st day. Hotel is seriously overpriced!

Pros: Son emplacement
Cons: Propreté, wifi, et service.
Après avoir séjourné il y a 3 ans dans cet hotel ,rien ne s.est amélioré bien au contraire. Pas de wifi ,plus de plateau de courtoisie dans les chambres etc...

Great location, everything else not so greatPosted Apr 25, 2015
Really great location within walking distance from many great places to visit in San Fran. Facilities were clean but not particularly comfortable. Better bedding, pillows and doona etc would be great, particularly given how chilly it can get in the city. Staff were civil but not friendly. Beware of significant extra costs in taxes than stated in the online price. Not sure if this is the best you can get for this price in SF, but I'd certainly be looking elsewhere next time I visit.

Great stayPosted Apr 14, 2015
My teen son recommended we stay at this hotel for a long weekend after he had stayed here two years ago with his grandparents. I'm so happy we did. The hotel is in an excellent location, reasonably priced, clean and has free parking. The hotel staff was very accommodating, and rooms were clean. There are restaurants nearby in Little Italy and Chinatown and we were able to walk to the trolley that was five minutes away. The Embarcadero is a twenty minute walk. Public transportation is also easily accessed. I have no doubt that if we return to SF, we will stay here again without hesitation.

Clean and functional.Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: Parking was free overnight and extra hour fee was reasonable
Cons: The room was clean but felt like it needed some fresh air.
Location: Just below Coit Tower. Walking distance to lots of attractions.
No frills but good location although the street is a little run down. Helpful staff. We needed a place to leave the car after check out and we were able to pay a reasonable fee for extra hours of parking.

FinePosted Mar 27, 2015
The hotel is not fancy but it is very well located for a night in North Beach, clean, and relatively inexpensive with free parking to boot. Hard to beat, really. Get a balcony room for having a beer with a bird's eye view of the Broadway scene (and beyond, if on top floor). Unless you need fancy, you will like this place.
