Not good

Pros: This hotel has little to recommend it for its high price. I would pay more for a better hotel.
Cons: The staff could learn to be more authentic instead of that saccharin sweetness.
Location: Location Burlingame CA, just outside of SFO. There are good restaurants in Burlingame. This hotel is mostly for air travelers.

Pros: Location
Cons: Wi-Fi Free - Bathroom in pool area, floors near pool/spa area fixed to avoid serious injuries.
Overall stay was pleasant. Perfect location. Minor quirks such as Poorly designed bathroom location in Pool area. Floors WAY too slippery, kids slipped several times even if they were just walking. Wi-Fi charge - there is no reason why Wi-Fi cannot be free.

Excellent restaurant and waterfront ambience

Pros: The restaurant was first-class in every way. The waitstaff, in particular, were attentive and polite.
Cons: Other than the earthquake in the early morning, which I doubt Marriott's management could do anything, our stay was a good as it gets.
Location: We went for dessert at midnight in Millbrae along Broadway. This is the happening place if you want something different late at night.
We booked one night for a short couple's getaway. Despite an initial hiccup with our room assignment, my wife thoroughly enjoyed her stay. In particular, she truly enjoyed her experiences at the Landing restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. She was greatly impressed by the atmosphere and decor as well as the first-rate service. The breakfast buffet was not just about quantity of choice, but the quality of the selections from juices to cheeses and cold cuts were truly impressive. The waitstaff were incredibily attentive and polite. In my wife's own words, she felt like: "We were in a different world". The walk afterward dinner and breakfast along the waterfront also made a grand impression upon both of us. We certainly will plan on another couple's getaway, in the near future.

Great Hotel!! Not perfect but great

The staff and hotel were awesome and very respectful. The only problems that I had were that the rooms did not have a mini fridge and the trash on the shore of the bay in front of the hotel.

Pros: Overall cleanliness and service
Cons: better transparency about parking fees
I looked to see if there was a parking fee and couldn't figure it out. Then we arrived we found out it was $25. I wish they had been open about that.

San Francisco Mariott

Pros: Convenient, clean
Cons: Surprised by $25 per day parking fee and by $7.95 daily internet connection fee in the room. The internet fee, especially, seemed obnoxious.
Location: Conveniently located outside the city. Easy freeway access.
Visiting family. Nice location on the bay. Nothing more to say

Fantastic place to stay

Pros: Proximity to the airport. Cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.
A very short night in luxury. Great to open the blinds and see the planes already getting ready for take off. Highly recommended:)

Pleasant hotel on the bay and close to airport

Cons: pool and hot tub cleanliness.
We chose the hotel for its location (bay) and convenience (airport). Generally, this is a very pleasant hotel, as far as big hotel chains go. The room was spacious with two double beds and a refrigerator at request and nice views. The bathroom was very basic indeed and on the small side for two people. The coffeemaker was a bit on the primitive side. The gym was very good with equipments, the pool small and both the pool and hot tub did not impress in terms of cleanliness. Overall, a good place to stay for a day or so before hopping on a flight.

Ok, but not worth the amount paid

I arrived at the hotel with my keys immediately taken from me by the valet folks so that I could check in. Upon checking in, the teammate was a little short and curt with me (the hotel was quite busy and noisy as a conference had ended) as I presented my debit card for incidentals. This sounds so silly, but I felt like a lower class citizen because I chose to use my debit rather than credit card. I couldn't use the key to enter the self parking, they had forgotten to code it even though the teammate asked me 3 different times when checking in if I would be self parking. The white button to use for assistance was not working so I went back and they re-coded my key. The room was clean, nice. Typical Marriott fashion. The carpet was wet next to the closet, I reported this as it stayed wet the entire time I was there (2 days) but no one showed up to take a look. I assumed they thought this was normal.

Great hotel for access to SFO

Pros: Staff and the bed. Also close to the The New England Lobster Co. Some of the best hole in the wall food in San Francisco!
Location: Don't miss the New England Lobster Co. for great crab and lobster! Short walk from the hotel.
Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Most comfortable bed the whole trip!
