Ideal to commute between San Francisco & San Jose

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Clean, restaurant, exercise room.
Cons: Beds. The beds are OK, but too soft for me.
Location: Location is ideal if you have to commute to San Francisco and San Jose. Stanford is nearby also. Quiet area.
Nice place if you have to go to San Francisco and to San Jose, good balance.

hotel close to airport

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: clean rooms, comfortable beds
Cons: transparency about charging for parking
very large hotel with a decent restaurant. they should list though that they charge for parking - $24/day - which considerably increased the cost of the room for two nights.

Old hotel. Some noisy rooms. Cleanliness issue.

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: the location is convenient -yet unpleasant as between highways: 101 and 92-.
Cons: Cleanliness. Amiability of some of the front desk staff. (some were very nice, some were not nice at all, at the limit of politeness)
Location: Airport. Easy access to half moon bay. Kite surf.
I'm really not difficult about Cleanliness but there some parts of the facility were disastrous, especially the fitness (cardio) room with almost all machines left with used cups in cups holders, tissues, etc... My room was also extremely noisy due to some..."internal machinery" somewhere in the walls that made a very loud noise regularly.

Clean, easy access from freeway

Posted Jun 17, 2015
I was first issued a room on the ground floor overlooking the pool...you definitely could hear the hooting and hollering of people/kids having a good time at the pool. I chose to switch rooms as I wanted a quieter room for my infant to nap. They happily accommodated my request with an upgrade. The room was very clean and very quiet. I was unaware of the onsite parking fee...$24 day I think. Overall the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Why I do not like Marriott

Posted Jun 15, 2015
I have to remind myself what you do not get with Marriott No free wi fi No breakfast You get to pay $24 to self park (parking lot was half empty) Not impressed Typical old rooms with gold and dark cream walls

Very pleasant.

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Expedia.com
Cons: none
Location: no comment
There was some construction going on at the ground floor that made some noise in the morning. But we always left early in the morning which was not a big deal for us. I am not sure how the other guest room next to the construction, I'll bet they feel terrible with the noise.

Nice hotel, fairly close to San Francisco Airport

Posted May 24, 2015
Pros: The mattresses were comfortable and we were surprised with the very good quality down duvets and pillows for a hotel in this price range. Convenient.
Cons: The shuttle from the airport comes only once an hour. Our room was in an area that had construction going on which was loud and dirty. Poor location
Location: The town on San Mateo is lovely and only a $10 cab ride away. Highly recommend North Beach Pizza in San Mateo.
We flew in to the San Francisco area for our son's graduation from university. This hotel offered the best room choices for the best price. I included the breakfast option, which was good value. All in all, a good experience

Great property

Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: Great property within walking distance of event center. Wonderful staff with great service. We had two adults and two preteens...the one bedroom suite was perfect-updated, clean and spacious. Cons: Avoid the restaurant if possible especially if you have kids. They offer 5 star prices for 2 star food and the restaurant staff is a bit pushy. Also, pay close attention to your rate..there are lots of additional fees that are quite pricey like Wi-Fi and parking.
