Girls' Trip

Pros: Check in is always easy and the staff is cheerful and helpful.
Cons: Parking at the hotel is horribly expensive, but it is a seller's market and one must pay the price.
Location: The hotel is in a safe, well-lighted area and close to everything.
This hotel is close to everything we enjoy doing during our yearly trip to 'The City'. It's a ten minute walk - taking our time - to the Italian section or to the China Town area. It's only minutes to Pier 39. We know every Starbucks location within ten miles of the hotel. We saw the Christmas Tree lighting this year and enjoyed the 'snow' and the Disney characters. The weather was fabulous and the food was excellent as always. We love eating our fill of the fresh seafood and plan some of our days around the type of food we want to eat.

Great location situated conveniently to Pier 39 and all that the Wharf has to offer. Easy In and Out for parking. We enjoyed the social hour that Sheraton provided with nicely rated wines. It rained one day and the Sheraton provided umbrella's. It was a nice touch. This is our preferred hotel when we stay in The City as it was centrally located. Within one block of the hotel you had a full grocery store, two drug stores, several restuarants and, of course, the Wharf.

Great location. Outdated d├ęcor.

Pros: Location, fire pits, friendly staff
Cons: Interior decorating made it seem like the 80's
Location: Public transportation was nearby, as was Fisherman's Wharf.
We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean but outdated. Staff was friendly and helpful. The fire pits outside the building were a nice touch and a great way to take the chill off. Location was terrific.

the staff was very friendly. However, the toilet ran constantly and the shower leaked. Not so good.

Location conveniently close to tourist attractions

Pros: Location and friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Maintenance and upkeep
Location: Convenient location. 2 blocks away from Fisherman's Wharf, 4 blocks away from Pier 39, close to Ghiradelli Square, Embarcadero, museums, water.
Convenient location, accommodations were fine. Very close to Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, and other tourist attractions. Safeway grocery store/shopping center is located directly across the street, behind the hotel. Self parking is also open to the public. One-day rate (also good for overnight stay) runs about $57.00. Added amenities will cost extra: microwave $20, mini fridge $20. Some parts of the hotel and our room seemed run down (i.e. old dusty air conditioner unit, musty rug scent, flat comforter, scrapes on the walls, worn fixtures, broken doorknob lock, etc.). Not great, not bad. Just convenient.

Hotel off the wharf

Room was clean and comfy. The surrounding area is a little scary for walking after dark.

Convenient location

Our hotel stay was wonderful. Close to walk to fisherman's pier and to get transportation to other attractions. Great fire pits to enjoy. All staff were pleasant and very helpful

Location: Safeway (shopping) and parking long term across the street. Very close too Wharf.
Good location. Make sure you park at the Safeway for parking $35.00 a day. The hotel is $55.00 a day for parking. The noise is city noise, anywhere you go in the city you will hear busses it is not that bad.
