Central to Fishermans Wharf.

Posted Apr 20, 2014
Quite a nice hotel. Our room was not fantastic but quite comfy. Faced the road on the grounf floor and the window open up into the street so had to have the curtains shut all the time. Other than that it was good. Nice clean bathroom. Good location to fishermans wharf. Would recommend

Fisherman's wharf hotel

Posted Apr 19, 2014
Pros: Location, room size
Cons: Hotel is under staffed. Long lines at checkin an checkout. Impossible to phone front desk.
Location: Close to Pier 39, plenty of stores and restaurants...great location for sure.
Hotel is good value for price. Rooms little outdated, spacious room but small bathroom. Good location. Only real issue was that hotel is understaffed for the amount of customers there. Nice staff, just not enough of it.

Corner Room

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Room was clean and very close to Pier 39.
Cons: After a full day of walking, we were going to sit in the hot tub. No hot tub.
Location: Too much to do nearby. Breakfast Lunch and Dinner. Tours. Shops. Very good location.
All in all the staff was great. The room was clean. We were placed in a corner room with an intersection right outside. Very loud, but someone has to get the room, I guess.

Dear Johnth, Thanks for the 4 star rating of Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf. We were delighted to read that you found our staff great and room clean. Sorry that the room assigned did not meet your expectations. Many people like that location due to the view. of the Golden Gate Bridge. Had we known, we would have been happy to work with you on finding an alternative location. We look forward to welcoming you back. Sincerely, Michael Hirsch, General Manager

Best and worst

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Worst was the size of the rooms, specifically the closet, and bathroom. Could not believe how tiny they were. The room was clean, the staff accommodating. Felt like a rat in a maze trying to find my room. They just spent millions to upgrade - didn't get their monies worth. Don't eat in the cafe in the lobby: one small sandwich, one small slice of dessert, one drink = $25. Best was proximity to Fishermen's Warf. One block away from everything. For the price and overall experience, do not recommend.

Wonderful hotel near the Wharf and Pier 39

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Stayed just one night as the tail end of a business trip...but the hotel is in a great location. Staff is very knowledgable and service-oriented; wonderful people. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; as well as clean and modern. The only minor gripe I have is the rather exhorbitant parking fees (but I suppose it's the same all over the city)....set me back $55 for valet parking (versus $50 for do it yourself parking).

Nice hotel close to the piers.

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: I liked the fact that our car was allowed to stay in their carpark until 6pm on the day we checked out.
Cons: The signage for car entry could be clearer and bigger.
Location: Hotel is close to the piers. The Alcatraz tours leave from pier 33 which is about 15 minutes walk.
After finding our way into the hotel by car ( which wasn't very easy ) everything went smoothly. We checked in early because the room was available. The staff were friendly and attended to our needs promptly. Car parking was expensive but we didn't need to find a park the next day when we went on our Alcatraz tour as they let you park until 6pm on the day you check out. Overall a good experience but the most expensive of our trip.
