Very dated hotel and not up to Sheraton standard

Posted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: Only positive is the location to all things happening at Fishermans Wharf
Cons: Different management and atiitude but beyond that I am not sure you can make a silk purse from a pigs ear!
Location: see above
Over priced. Food very costly and below standard. Some staff glum to say the least. Bathroom/toilet very small Cost cutting e.g. plastic and cardboard cups. Exhaust fans in bathroom shut down about 10 PM Poor maintenance in room. Air conditioning unit came out of the ark Star rating is very wrong. No concierge after about 10PM

Experience to remeber

Posted Aug 25, 2014
The surcharge is $50 a day plus tax to self park and $55 for valet. So they had us park across the street for $35.00 a day.

Upscale choice right by everything

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Location, renovation, flaming coffee tables at outside bar seating so you can stay outside if it's chilly.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Fisherman's wharf boat rides, farmer's market, Golden Gate park for hiking, Ghiradelli Square, hiking hilly streets behind like Lombard Street.
Very nice and comfortable room in a great location close to the touristy area but with a luxe feel. You're a block from corn dogs and cotton candy but feel like you're retreating to a classy place which has been thoughtfully renovated so that it's upscale.

Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Concierge Staff Friendly
Cons: Needs a proper restaurant and the rooms need updating as does the pool area
Location: Location fantastic - right beside Pier 39
Very sub-par for a Sheraton. No restaurant to speak of just room service and a buffet breakfast that was over priced for what was on offer. Wifi to use in the room expensive at $40 per week, cheaper on a day rate if you just use in reception area. Very disappointing - will be loath to choose a Sheraton again for accommodation have found cheaper and better eminities at a local Travelodge.

Thanks for staying with us. We regret that the bathroom layout left you wanting more. The design, I believe, was intended to maximize the space in the bedroom. We hope that you will consider a return trip here. Sincerely, Michael Hirsch, General Manager
