Great location

Pros: Location, fire pits outside were a comfortable lounging area.
Cons: Free wifi in rooms. People tended to crowd the lounge to use the wifi.
Location: Pier 39, beach st, water front within walking distance.
Location was excellent. Was disappointed with the lack of free wifi in the rooms. Room was well maintained, staff very polite and helpful.

Pros: It was close to the Wharf. I also liked the fact that you had to use your room key in the elevator. That made me feel a little secure.
Cons: Update the rooms
Location: Close to the wharf, the street cars and cable cars. Closed to shops and places to eat
I was very disappointed in this hotel. With tax I spent $348 for one night in what they called a "traditional room" Well there was nothing traditional about the room. The wall paper was piling out the walls, the lights over the bed did not work. The outlet that the coffee pot was plugged into did not work. The TV was a joke. Half the channels that they had listed did not work. When you finally found a channel it would start pixalating when you where watch it. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Everything is in walking distance the hotel is very nice clean friendly very huge must ask for refrigerator and microwave

Pros: Location was great
Cons: Bathroom very tiny
Location: Just a block from the wharf
Staff was nice. Check in and out very efficient. Easy access to wharf.

Nice hotel close to everything.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the room was very comfortable.
Cons: It would be nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room.
Location: It was across the street and around the corner from tour buses and grocery stores and Fisherman's Wharf, and the trolley was a block away.
Very comfortable and within walking distance of everything including transportation. The concierge booked our tours and recommended restaurants, and we couldn't have been happier. Just wished we had a microwave and frig in the room.

Pros: Fire pits
Cons: Smokers on our non-smoking floor, beds are too small
Location: Walking distance to restaurants and waterfront
Great place to stay, met a nice couple from Virginia. Always enjoy relaxing by the fire pits. Had a great time!

Hotel is mediocre at best. Parking is expensive, and I would imagine there are better options if staff would be honest. Probably wouldn't be inclined to take the Expedia undisclosed name offer again.

Where there are less expensive lots around, none of them offer in/our privileges, have 24 hour staff and are protected from the elements. It was our pleasure to serve you. A bit disappointing for the price. Overall nice.

Pros: Hotel was blocks from Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 which allowed us to walk to many activities including our Alcatraz tour. Parking is challenging and expensive so this was a plus. I was unaware that we would be charged a fee for parking our car in the underground garage of the hotel so this was a surprise but still cheaper than street parking. The room was very clean and pleasantly decorated. Beds were comfortable with ample pillows. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: The toilet flushed only when the handle was held down for some time. It required the handle to be jiggled a minute or two later because it wouldn't stop running. The sink filled with water very quickly and appeared to need the drain unclogged. The heater/AC unit did not have any temperature control that functioned. It blew air but we were unable to change the temperature. Also was disappointed there was no frig for the cost of the room.
