Everything is good in this hotel except 2 things 1. Only 1 restaurant and limited menú 2. Self Parking should be free the cost of the room is plenty to cover parking.

This is not an airport hotel!

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: The shuttle service and the fact that this pulls up as an airport hotel.
The hotel was lovely and the staff was friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. That being said, I would not consider this hotel an airport hotel. The airport was 15-20 minutes away and the hotel shuttle was incredibly inconvenient (leaves once an hour). The shuttle does not even start until 6am, which did not work for my family with a 7:00 flight. We used Uber... but were hoping for something more convenient.

The best hotel stay ever. I am totally coming back. The receptionist could've been a little nicer, I guess you can't have it all.

The Staff Steals!!

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything.
Location: There is nothing around this hotel location, you are stranded
This is a great hotel to stay at if you want the staff to rob you and then the hotel do nothing about it. They stole an atomizer, $350 in cash and some jewelry when taking my bags downstairs and the management literally won't even apologize, even with the police report. I'd avoid this hotel at all costs. PS - the staff all speak in fake french accents, it's hilarious. The hotel is located in the Metro center of Redwood City, so there is literally nothing interesting in the surrounding area. And the food is boring and overpriced, like all hotel food.

Pros: nice view
Hotel was noisy, late night slamming of doors and banging on floor and walls. I discount this expierance due to large number of kids and teens there that night

I travel quite often and thought I would try the Sofitel San Francisco for a nice getaway with my wife. The bathroom had something on the wall from a previous guest that was not taken care of. There were no pillows on the 2 sofas in the living room and was very uncomfortable to watch tv. The hotel needs updating.. I rented a suite thinking it would be a great place... I was disappointed....

Sofitel in a nice location in Redwood City, CA.

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The Sofitel Staff and the Location of the Sofitel Hotel
Cons: Noticed a lot of dust around the edge of their carpet's, in our suite, elevator's, hallways and other area's, that their vacuum's aren't cleaning up!!
Location: "The Location Is Beautiful!!"
"We stayed in an extra nice 2-room King Suite and were really pleased with both room's, as well as the large bathroom too"... "and the location of this Sofitel Hotel was beautiful, with mountain and lagoon view's"... "The Sofitel's Staff were all very friendly!!" ~ "We'll be looking forward to our next stay at the Sofitel Redwood City!!"
