Provided what I needed. No fancy stuff here.

Cons: A sink in the bathroom would be a great improvement.
Location: The neighborhood has quite a few homeless people so just be prepared. They are people. Have compassion. Union Square and downtown are very nearby.
I can only speak as to my experience. My room had hardwood floors and seemed to have been painted pretty recently. Pleasing, soothing colors: Med blue walls with white trim. The bed was a twin that was on a frame very close to the floor. The sheets were thin but ok. Comforter had a few stains but was ok. I ended up buying a cheap blanket at Ross to help stay warm. The room had a small microwave, fridge, television, sink with medicine cabinet and a small chest of drawers. The chest was kind of falling apart but workable. Also had a closet, but no hangers. The bathrooms are down the hall, two toilets in stalls. There wasn't a sink in the bathroom which I found odd. There was a separate shower room that was fine. Had hot enough water. Nice new tile on the floor. No sink there either. I'm a practicing Buddhist so I looked at it like staying in a monk's room. No frills. Pretty quiet at night. Was able to sleep fine. San Francisco is a very expensive city to find accomodations. This place is fine if you are willing to forego all the amenities at normal hotels. It worked great for me, because I had very low expectations.

the worst hotel you can opt for your stay

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: they need to close down the hotel
this was the worst experience i had at any hotel till date i booked the hotel for 3 nights but because of the condition of the hotel could not stay for more than 1 night. the hotel is dirty and very noisy. when i checked out the lady at the front desk said everything is settled and i thought i was charged only for 1 night but when i got home i realized i have been charged for 3 nights. when i called them they told me they can't do anything about it.

Safety and Sanitation a concern

Pros: On a positive side, it was nice to have a single room and I was allowed to check in early. It was a nice touch that there was a tiny fridge and a micr
Cons: New mattress. Sink in the restroom. Real curtains in the window. Window that locks properly.
Location: Easy bus ride to Powell and Market where there is the cable car and plenty of shopping.
On a positive side, it was nice to have a single room and I was allowed to check in early. It was a nice touch that there was a tiny fridge and a microwave in the room. I won't stay there again unless it is renovated. The mattress was really lumpy, the sink was really small and loose. There wasn't a sink in the toilets to wash your hands after use (not very sanitary). I felt very uncomfortable that the curtain was shear. Being on the main floor, it bothered me that someone could look in and see me changing. In addition the window won't lock in the open position.

At a small cheap hotel, it is a wonderful choice.

Pros: As a small motel, I think this is very nice place to stay. Just enough for back packers, and we don't need to share with strangers.
Cons: I hope the sheet can but more clean. And I hope you could separate the smoking and none smoking room. Even you said it is a none smoking room but
Location: Near union square, very near to all the great restaurant.
1, very close to the city center. 2, even it is share bathroom and shower place, it is very clean and comfortable. 3, it is a really cheap price. 4, I don't know for other floors, but first floor is clean and quiet. Bad part: The first time I was in this hotel it doesn't smell bad. But the following day the bad smell came.

Cheapest hotel in SF and you can tell. There is no service to speak of; there is no front desk and they rarely answer their phone. The rooms are small, which is fine, but the beds (I experience two different beds for reason I don't have the time to explain) were terrible. If all you care about is cheap, this is the place for you; otherwise, you get what you pay for, don't expect much.

Not far away from the union square

Posted Dec 26, 2014
The location is not far away to the city center but it is kind of weird. The lobby is always locked. If you want to check in you might have to call the receptionist.
