An Ideal Place to Stay for UsPosted Mar 12, 2014
Location: The hotel is near Union Square with access to Chinatown, the US stores and gallerias, muni bus stops/metro stations and restaurants.
We having been staying at theTaj Campton Place whenever we are in San Francisco. We have enjoyed and continue to enjoy the hotel's friendly staff who always seem to treat us like family when there. We found it an ideal location to navigate within the city and when venturing out of the city.

great location, great customer servicePosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Great value, customer service, and bed.
Cons: Ideally wi-fi should be free. At minimum, it should be by room, not device.
Location: Centrally located. Quick trolley to fisherman's wharf. Everything else downtown is walking distance.
In San Fran for a conference. I've stayed in the city previously and Taj Campton will be top of list for return visits. All staff - from front desk to cleaning people to doormen - are incredibly helpful/friendly and really set this hotel apart. Accomodations were good and extremely comfortable bed. Location near Union Square is great and allowed me to walk everywhere.

Very pleasant experiencePosted Feb 25, 2014
This is the 4th Taj hotel I've stayed in since 2008. I find them all comfortable , with a very pleasant staff . The amenities are top notch , love the Moulton Brown toiletries , the best! Quiet , comfort, with the best location . I will recommend this hotel and hope to go back again.

Very nice hotel hiding in the Hyatt's shadowPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Quiet, comfortable.
Cons: There is no need to waste electricity leaving the lights and TV on all day.
Location: A block off Union Square, tons of restaurants nearby, easy access to public transit
The staff were super-friendly, the room nicely appointed and the bed very comfortable. It was a little weird that the shower only had glass covering about 1/3 of it, leading to water easily splashing out on to the bathroom floor. And I'm not quite sure why they leave all of the lights and TV on every day after the room is serviced. But other than that, a good stay.

Great experience in heart of SFPosted Feb 14, 2014
Had a very good experience and I appreciated that it was only short walking distance to the Moscone Conference Center (about 10min walk). With a Starbucks around the corner each day was started in the best possible way. I heard people recommending the hotel restaurant but I never got to try it.

Superb location; great staff.Posted Feb 12, 2014
The hotel's location is unbeatable. Union Square is a block away and Chinatown is an easy walk. The staff was without exception friendly and efficient, an uncommon combination. An atrium-like opening brings natural light into the inner hallways. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom was quite nice. Breakfast was a little pricey ($46 including tax and tip for a continental breakfast for two) but that may be the going rate in well-to-do San Francisco. Two minor quibbles: One of the building's mechanical systems makes a periodic rumbling noise that took some getting used to. And why charge for wi-fi here in the digital capital of the world? But all in all a most comfortable stay.

Great hotel, great locationPosted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: Location and service.
Cons: Gym and lifts.
Location: Great location if u are a foodie..walk to Mission for Mexican and sample the cafes in the financial district.
The location was excellent (close to Union Square)-close to dining & shopping options.. We had dinner at a local French cafe .. Cafe Claude...and took the little one to the Exploratorium. No problems with public transport to and from the hotel. Only minor drawback was the gym which was a little dated . Otherwise the service and facilities were excellent. Would definitely return.

Cons: Parking rates at $62 are very steep!
Location: Its San Fran- Everything!
This hotel defines what service at a 5 star hotel should be. Though this isn't rated a 5 star-it very well can be. Great rooms. location, service was amazing. Good coffee in the morning! (Important for business traveler)
