“Best service ever!”

My fiancee and I stayed for four days around New Years Eve and had a marvelous experience. Laura at the front desk was charming and friendly, as well as efficient. Paul, our waiter in the Hotel restaurant, which was fabulous, was a fantastic server. Big positive impressions were made by Dan the Doorman. He alone made the stay great. What a pro and a peach of a person. Our time at the Taj Campton was unforgettable--I highly recommend it to one and all!

Although I booked the smallest room, it was spectacular. Comfy, attractive and with a great bathroom (separate tub and shower). Nice work-out facility. We'll be back every time.

Loved this hotel, it simply couldn't be beat in San Francisco. It had the perfect location right in Union Square. Perfectly safe walking distance from all shopping, the Moscone center, and plenty of AMAZING restaurants! Definitely will stay here on my next trip.

“Great Hotel for anyone with business on or around Union Square”

I have stayed across the street at the Grand Hyatt several times, and would recommend this hotel over the Hyatt. The staff was unbelievable, the room was great, the bathroom was big and nice. The room service breakfast was way too much for one person, but it was fun to try.

“Great location and wonderful service”

We loved the location, just off Union Square and 2 blocks from Chinatown. I would recommend bringing a travel coffee pot if you have one and need coffee before you dress in the morning, as a small pot from room service is $14.00 after service charge and 18% gratuity(mandatory). If you can wait, there is, of course, a Starbucks right next door. The rooms are nice and the linens plush-the bathroom was unusually roomy. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but the after hours room service menu was extremely limited (4 items) such as $14.00 kraft mac & cheese.

“Going Back Monthly”

I travel 3-4 nights a week and it's fabulous when you can find a place where you forget you're on business and actually enjoy being away from home. Molton Brown products, terrific bed, extremely quiet, very service oriented, housekeeping staff is friendly and professional. I've now made this my hotel in San Francisco and look forward to returning every few weeks!

Loved the location--could not have been better. Very clean and comfortable with excellent customer service. The concierge service was exemplary. It will be our first choice on our next visit to San Francisco.

Campton Place is where you want to go for comfort, amenities, service and location, location, location. Just don't expect a room with a view.
